We are currently planning our wedding there and saw this place. I really like the idea of getting married in the starlight gazebo ceremony. I wondered if anyone has been to Eustis, and could tell us roughly how far it is from I Drive, it says 45 minutes on the directions, but I don't know whether or not to believe it. Also, if anyone has been there, I would love to know what they thought of it. They only have three dates available for our holiday period, so I'm wondering if I ought to just take the plunge.
If anyone takes a look, it is the package with the fairy lights all round the gazebo that we would be having.

Eustis is near Mount Dora and Tavares. Only been through it on the Mt Dora trolley bus, havent actually visited the place.
Dibber FLgirl-UKnow would be your best bet for some info.

I live 3 miles from Universal and using my house as a starting point it would take 47 minutes by online instructions. I would plan for no less than a hour just because of traffic. It would also be worth it to add 10-15 minutes in case you get lost or have trouble finding it once you are in town. Eustis is a small town and one of our older places. More 'country' feeling.
I'm not trying to deter you from the Chapel of Love but if you want something in Orlando that is like a garden setting you could check out Cypress Grove Park which is about 10 minutes from Florida Mall (Dibbers have used this facility and I've been a wedding planner for a couple of weddings there and also helped a Dibber with planning their day) or just north of downtown is Leu Gardens in Winter Park. Both have some great options and pretty settings.
PM me if you need help. As I said, I do a bit of wedding planning here locally so I'm happy to give you some help if I can.

Thanks for the help guys. I had narrowed it down to 2 places, and following your advice we've booked a pastor and Kraft Azalea Gardens. All I need to do now is get some flowers and I'm good to go!
And lose some weight of course!!!!!

Very nice! I've not been to Kraft gardens in years but it was always nice.
Let me know if you need help with a florist. I could pass you a couple of names if it is something you have to come up with yourself.
