I posted information on this place when it first opened but I thought I'd post it again. This place has been getting HUGE exposure on our local radio stations and everyone is really raving over it. I thought there might be a few Dibbers that would enjoy going. I know my DH and my nephews all want to do this very soon!

Thanks very much, have shown this to my DS and he is looking forward to getting stuck with his cousins in when we go next October!
Even better is that it is just over the road from Cumbrian Lakes where we are staying!

Be sure to tell us about it when you get back. The local radio station has been going out there every weekend so it has been talked about a lot. Looks/sounds like great fun if paint ball is your sort of thing.

I'd love to go to this, but no-one else in my family will be up for it :(

I actually wondered if I should post about this place or not thinking that you might need several people to give it a go. From hearing the reports on Monday (the radio talks about the games they've played there) it is very clear that one person can show up and they create games for anyone that is there or isn't in a group. It sounds like they've got quite a variety to.
If you've got free time you might want to give it a try on your own.
Only done paintball once (over here) and the bruises took a week to go! Never again, thanks!:confused2
Might give this a go with DS

We went out to Boggy Creek Airboat on Saturday so we made sure to look for it. You could pass it up very easily as you only see a bit of a paint ball course exposed as you drive by. They have a little sign at the end of the road (it is black with writing in red). There were 3-4 cars when we went by and when we came back by there must have been at least 20-25 cars there.
Take into consideration the time of year you are here and the heat of the day. I can only imagine the gear would be quite hot and added to the Florida sun you'd want to pick the coolest time.
Have fun if you give it a go! I think DH might be doing this in October when his family is over.

I've done a number of paintball days over here so would add to considering the time of day/year you do this in Florida. The masks are hot and tend to mist up, wearing a full overall is essential to limit the bruising.
Great fun though!
