This will be our 3rd stay at Emerald Island resort and the best location we have stayed at so far . It is 10 mins maybe evn less to AK only a couple of mins more to the other Disney parks.Close by , but still a drive as are all villa communities , is a Publix . Also about 2 mins out of the gate there is an Outback steakhouse and a Red Lobster both great restaurants. I would say you have made a good choice.

It's where we stay and its lovely. As stated lovely Outback and Red Lobster nearby. Also Winn Dixie Supermarket. There's also two Crazy golfs, with the newer one opening last year - Jungle Golf I think its called. You are close to WDW and about 20-25 min drive to SW/IOA/US - but all are easy to get to. Golden Corral or Sizzlers for brekkie. Can't wait til we're back there next Easter!

We stayed here in November 2007, took only 12 minutes to MK. It's an ideal location, the Outback restaurant does lovely food, they have a takeaway service too. There is also a nice chinese in the complex
