I'm now narrowing down my search to find a villa. Can anyone tell me what Sunridge Woods area is like? How easy is it to get to Universal Studios (wont be doing Disney next year). Any opinions on a gated or non gated community? Thanks Sandra

Hi Sandra
There are some fabulous communities along US54...I know I'm a bit biased as we are in Thousand Oaks, but guest feedback for the location is always great. In 5 min drive, you can pick up the I4 from Champions Gate which we find the quickest route for Universal. The 192 via Old Lake Wilson Road is under a 10 min drive. You are close enough to all parks and shops, but feel like you have left the fast pace and bright lights for some R and R!!

Hi Sandra,
Sunridge Woods is a beautiful development. My father bought a villa on Meadow Green Drive which is the entrance road running through the resort. That was in 1993 so most of the properties would be about 15 years old now, however when we were over recently we went back to have a look at the old house and It was nice to see that the whole of the estate was very clean and well presented. I dont think you will find many houses in Sunridge though that have more than 3/4 bedrooms. Its a very short distance (5 minutes) from highway 27 and by using Old Lake Wilson Rd you are only about 20 minutes from Disney.

We stopped in a villa at Sunridge Woods a couple of years back. Villas tend to be slightly older on quite large plots.Very handy for access to the I4 through Champions Gate. We really enjoyed it. You would be about a 30 to 40 min drive to Universal.

Sorry, meant to say Sunridge Woods not gated, one nearby that is would be Reserve at Town Center, just up Old Lake Wilson Road.

We LOVE Sunridge Woods and always stay there if we can. As others have said the villas are on larger plots and tend not to be overlooked. The community is a mixture of rental and resident villas so you don't feel like everyone is coming and going all the time and there are often people working out in their gardens or walking their dogs. It's quiet and peaceful and a nice break from the parks. Easy access to all major roads, US27, I4, Old Lake Wilson, CR54 and good shopping nearby at Championsgate - new Publix coming soon at Lake Wilson. Good Dominos pizza at the CR54 junction and a Dunkin donuts up at the Lake Wilson junction so everything you need within easy reach!!
