Craft shops in and around Kissimmee

Hi,

can anyone recommend any craft shops for scrapbooking / card making / cross-stitch in and around Kissimmee. Some years ago my husband found a very cheap place for cross-stitch material but he can't remember where it was:angry:

There is a Joannes on the 192 around Marker 9 -10. It had been opened about a year. It sells everything you need.

There is a really good cross stitch shop on the 192 past Medevil Times about 2-3 miles on the left hand side. Can't remember the name of it- but my mum got a great deal on a full set of DMC . They were also very good at ordering things and they then sent them to my mum free as they didn't come in before we left.

Mum is just going to get the name now...........

There is also a shop called mouse memories which is nearer the Kissimmee old town, they also have a website http://www.mousememories.com which will give you an idea of what the sell. They don't do cross stitch stuff though, only scrapbooking and card making stuff.

There's a shop called Michael's i think somewhere near the belz outlet, they're usually everywhere though so if you get a chance to go in one, they might have what your looking for. It's kind of like a better version of hobby craft except they do loads more, they have nearly everything and it's alot cheaper. :smile:

There is now a Michaels at the Loop, which is probably nearer to Kissimmee. I'm no good at giving directions but perhaps someone else can help?

There's a shop called Scrappy Boutique on Sand Lake Road (close to Florida Mall) which looks brilliant - can't wait to visit in Oct! Great for scrapbookers. Check out the website - lots of info and pics.
