Hi sue! Looks good at first glance... a gentle start.. not sure if I could go 6 days for first Disney Fix! Anything you do on yr first full day (2) will need to be fairly relaxed, with a decent night sleeo, if you are driving to the Gulf the next day. What about AK, or a water park?
We've got the same flights in June, and are planning loads of stuff to fill the last day, before the flight. Are you going to use DTD check-in to save some time later? we hope to fit a water park and a few hours at Universal/IOA in before setting off for the airport.
Regarding Seaworld - it will be a pretty full day if you start early and stay til the dinner show. I would go a bit later and make full use of the aircon inside the sharks, penguins and cirque de mer! Could you break that day up by returning to villa/hotel in case everyone gets too tired to enjoy the show?
Mike
thanks Mike
Do you think we should do MK on day 2 then?
I could do with some ideas for the last day as I dont really want to waste it and if it is a busy day maybe the kids will sleep on the way home.
Which parks do you think we will need to do more than once?

I would recomend going to the beach later on in the holiday - the temperature will be pretty hot @ the end of July and your more likely to burn during the first few days of the holiday. If you wait until the 2nd week then you should of started to tan and your skin will be slightly more resilient.
MK on day 2 would be bad as Saturday is one of the parks busiest days duing a peak season which would mean lots of queing.
As long as you get to the parks @ opening then yoy should be able to do the main rides without much queing and then you would only need to do each park once.
Hope that this helps.
..agree about MK on day 2 being probably a bad idea... in fact , I would 'do' all the others before you go to MK as the kids tend to get the idea that all the parks are like MK if they see it 1st... then they dislike the others without knowing why!!
My rota would be AK, Epcot, MGM, then MK, spread over several days. If you have a really good touring plan, you will, as josephus_fl says, probably do all the major rides etc in one visit. It's not so much having to return visit, it's the ones you want to see again on a 2nd day.. I always like several days or part days at Epcot!:D... don't forget, after your 1st assault, you can 'hop' , taking in partial days at the parks before transferring to another... say, morning at MGM for rides, PM in the pool/villa/hotel before Epcot for Illuminations at night (etc etc!)
Last day.... you'd really tire them out with a water park visit!
Anything else, don't hesitate to ask!

You have 2 days scheduled at Animal Kingdom (2&9). You shouldn't have a problem in covering everything within a day.
Why not shift the second visit to later in your schedule and use it as a hopper day, between the parks that you've already visited?
good idea I didnt realize I had AK in twice as I have been swapping days about
..on day 3, when you have a 'day off' the parks, why not have a dose of the Magic by visiting a resort hotel or two, say Wilderness Lodge or AKLodge, and book a PS at Whispering Canyon Cafe (as long as you are all fairly ouitgoing!LOL) or Boma?
On a half day 'off' you could do the Boggy Creek Airboats ( http://www.bcairboats.com/ ) ... everyone seems to get a buzz from this... if you do it early enough you could carryy on to a park or shopping.
Must do PS's ..we like the choice at Disney buffets.(so that the kids will always find something to eat!).. best ones are Epcot Norway and Germany, Boma and MGM Hollywood & Vine (IMO!)
Coming along nicely now, isn't it?:D

Mike - what is a PS?
Priority seating...disney's version of a booking at a restaurant.
Why do we need to be outgoing Mike? We are by the way?
Sue
It's looking good - if your children like rides then IofA is THE best - perhaps another visit there, or you can always just walk over from Universal.
How about a PS at Ohana's (in the Poly) - it's a lovely restaurant and is orientated around the family - and if you request a window table you get a fabulous view of Cindy's castle - and then you can have a stroll along the sandy beach - magical.
What about hiring a WaterMouse boat when you go to MK - catch the monorail for a ten minute trip to the Poly, find the marina and away you go - an excellent fun 30 minutes on the water, then back onto the monorail for the trip past the Grand Floridian and back in to MK to finish off with Wishes etc.
Why do we need to be outgoing Mike? We are by the way ..Sue, WCC is a very loud, bumptious experience.. the servers stomp around on the wooden floors, banging their serving stands as they walk, they interact with the guests, borrowing headgear etc, they organise children's hobby-horse rides around the restaurant.... on of them tried to fix my DD, 11, up with a young lad at the next but one table! Don't ask for ketchup! :wink Great fun...but not for everybody! I love the venue.. it's right off the HUGE lobby at the WL... we sat in the lobby for ages, and cruised the shop and the other guest areas.
