Hi Everyone - I was in Festival Bay this weekend with my DH and we popped into the new Heroes Memoribilia (http://www.heroesmemorabilia.net/) store in Festival Bay. We'd been there before but this time we had a chance to speak to the man that owns the shop (Garry....top guy!) and it turns out that he is from the UK (London) and he and his family have made the move to the US and own the store.

If you are interested in autographed merchandise (much like what you find at the shop in DTD or Field of Dreams in Florida Mall) this is the place to go! He even stocks a few footie items (mugs, backsacks, plush bears, flags, etc) and with the exchange rate you can't beat it!

I did ask if there is someone who woud like to purchase a framed item would they have the option of shipping and he did say that he is happy to pack the item and if it can't be brought back on your flight as a checked piece of baggage he does ship to the UK so the options are there.

If you are in Festival Bay stop in and have a look around. I told him about the Dibb and said I'd give their shop a mention here. They've been here 5 months now and are still settling in. I'm sure he'd welcome the hello.

:wavey:

Thanks....they'll appreciate you stopping in. Pass the word if you like the shop. I'm sure it isn't easy starting out and Festival Bay needs all the traffic it can get! I wish they had a better anchor store to pull shoppers in. We go there a lot simply because of the cinema.

We love it there, but people do seem to avoid it and say it needs more shops. So hopefully it will fill up soon.
I love the universal discount store, book shop, surf shops, hot topic to get my sister a pressie and this year I believe there is monkey joes play area (i'm sure it was there?) Not forgetting the taco bell in the food court!! :D What's not to love!!
Will pass on the word for sure, i'm sure they'll appreciate you doing so also.

We're not going back until next year but would appreciate knowing where to find Festival Bay? We will be staying at Highlands Reserve (as usual :spin::spin:)

It's opposite of Prime Outlet on the north end of International Drive.

Take a look here (-http://www.shopfestivalbaymall.com/html/) for more information. Their anchor store is Universal Studios but I don't think there are real bargains to be had. It is just another shop for them outside of the park.

A lot of Dibbers like Steve & Barry's because it is very cheap. Monkey Joe's is a great place for the little kids and of course the cinema is a good option. Cricketers Pub is on the outside of Festival Bay so you can always grab a pint if you need one. The owner of Cricketers is a friend of ours and a great guy as well.....a Chelsea supporter so how can you go wrong! ;)

Snap, I was wondering how there could be a business model for a shop just for one TV show ! Doh.
