Space Shuttle launch advice?

Hi all, hope your all well.

Luckily when we are in Florida this year there is a shuttle launch, something i have always wanted to see.

However i have no experience of the experience if that makes sense.

How do i go about seeing it, do i go to cape canaveral on the day, or book early etc. I hear there are thousands of people that go and see these launches.

Also, do you hear it break the sound barrier??

Any advice would be much appreciated

As far as that goes, you will hear the shuttle in general. The actual sonic boom once supersonic is not heard on the way up.
