Ears? How many silvers before the golds arrive?

Can anyone out there tell me how many silver ears I get before I start getting those lovely shiny gold ones?:d:

I'm gathering from a thread started earlier that only one of your ears turns silver and then at some point it will turn gold followed by all the others. :wave:

I've only ever seen people with one silver ear so I'm guessing that's right and they all turn gold in turn after that.
