sky sports?!

does anybody know any bars, which may have sky sports in or something similar! as me and my boyfriend are rugby fanatics, we are missing one of our derby games, and we were just wondering whether we would be able to get it over there or not!
we are staying on international drive, so anywhere accessible from there and easy to get to would be a bonus!

The Fox & Hound do Sky sports & they show all British games also if you have a good tv in villa they show English football on ESPN at weekends

Both of the mentioned places will be good options. We go to Cricketers since we know the man that owns it.

If you aren't familiar with it you can find it on the outside of Festival Bay. It's located on International Drive just across from Prime Outlets (the north end).

You sure can. I would recommend the I-ride before using Lynx buses. There are a couple of stops for Festival Bay/Prime Outlet.

They do show Rugby. Don't necessarily go by their online calendar. That isn't updated as often as it should be.

Being as most places that show the sport get their feeds from Setanta and not Sky is why I have never find anywhere that shows Rugby. Also if it clashes with football KO times they will show the footy and not the rugby because of the bigger audience with football.

Well if there is a conflict Phil may show it on a smaller tv and not the big screen so that would be better than nothing. You can always ask for them to turn it on if you don't see it when you walk in. He's got enough screens in there that they wouldn't have a problem showing it for you. If in doubt call ahead and talk to them about it.

I take it you are after watching the Wigan game (last game of regular season). I have been going to Florida for the last 7 years and have yet to find anywhere that have the Rugby League matches on. I have seen union but not league. I don't think you will get it, as has been said the feeds tend to come from setanta (Aussie RL) ,EPSN and Fox(they show Sky football). If any of the pubs use an internet feed from such as a slingbox (about £100) connected to sky over here they will be able to get it. Sorry its not very positive but if you do manage to find anywhere please post as i go the week after you.

Have you heard anything yet? I'm not overly bothered about the Challenge Cup (BBC) as we will be on our way home that day, but Sky have just announced that they will be showing Castleford v Warrington on Sunday 24th August - and we would be interested in that :)

I haven't but I was told he was gone. I've got your 24/08 match on my calendar and will call on the 14th and post here before you leave and let you know if they have it on the schedule. Since it will be a little early you might have to call but hopefully they will be able to give me an answer.

I spoke to them today and their calendar won't be updated until next Monday. He said super league is usually always on and felt that you should be able to see it. He recommended you giving them a call if you are over before the online calendar is updated just to be sure. As soon as I mentioned the cup he felt confident it would be shown.

Still sort of a 'possibly' answer but he sounded pretty confident.
