Typhoon Lagoon Early Opening Hours

Hi everyone,
we were thinking of doing surfing at typhoon lagoon in the morning when we go in a few days time. I was wondering does typhoon lagoon have early opening hours every day or is it only certain days?

Surfing at typhoon lagoon has been suspened until the pool refurbishment later in the year.

Won't be back until early 2009.

I don't think TL has early opning hours only evening EMH's.

Disney website says planned maintenance for TL for Jul/Aug/Sep this year

There are no scheduled operational updates currently being performed at this park.

How does that square with surfing being suspended due to pool refurb? :confused2

I've also heard that surfing has been suspended...something to do with the really big waves and a big crack in the wall although they aren't closing the water park just not doing the surfing...not sure about the regular big waces though.

as far as i understand it the normal waves are still going but they can not crank system up to full power which is what they have to do for the surfing lesson waves

Lifeguard @ BB told me a couple of days ago that TL would be closed for up to 5 months over fall and winter.
