Hi guys we are goin in sept 2009 a long way off but we both cant wait ;) I was thinking off going to either seaworld ( the one with the kraken ride )or mgm studios (rockandrollercoaster) as they both seem to have a good mixture of rides/shows as I imagine we will both be pretty tired. We were going to go straight to busch gardens but thats going to be way too much for the 1st day I think

What do you guys think or any other suggestions ? Cheers everyone

I think I've read others liking Seaworld for a first day as it's quite a 'relaxed' park and quite a slow pace with many sit-down shows.

I like the Magic Kingdom though and taking advantage of my body clock not being adjusted, to have an early breakfast in the Crystal Palace. You get to see the Magic Kingdom when it is all but empty, which is rare, and you start your holiday off with a great big dose of Disney magic.

We are also going to Crystal Palace at MK on our first morning as we know we will be up at the crack of dawn. :d:

The sight of MK just makes me , it's so beautiful :spin:

You won't be tired, you'll probably be up at 6am (or earlier) 'cause of the time difference:tounge:

Personally I think for the 1st trip MK is the way to go. There for rope drop, take in the atmosphere and get the rides in. You can park hop or go back to hotel for a bit if you feel the pace in the afterenoon. :)

If its your first time I would probably say head to MK on your first
day. There is nothing more magical than seeing that castle for the
first time :)

we did universal on our first day on our first trip, that was because it was my oh's 21st birthday and he wanted to eat at hard rock. We had a wonderful day.

I would say though our first disney park was MK.... its so special.

Has to be MK on the first day, the whole centre and point of the trip!
We are never tired just eager to get there and start riding the rides.

Must say for us it has to be MK but we are complete Disney addicts and have only done other parks on one of our holidays - the others were complete Disney Fests!

Another vote for MK. You cannot beat the first view of the castle. We are going to book an early breakfast at Crystal Palace when we go so that our niece and nephew can get their first view of the castle with an empty street in front of them.

Lol looks like it's a 50/50 split between MK and Seaworld. I sometimes get all confused reading loads of different posts as i'm a disney virgin also (cn i say that??? sorry if i can't)
I think what we're going to do it do MK for rope drop and maybe switch to a water park or something later on. Pace ourselves a wee bitty. But knowing us we'll be in MK forever lol like 2 giant kids....but did i mention befoe Liam is afraid of Mickey mouse? Haha he's 26!!!! :pgig::pgig: :mickey2:

The kraken ride is ace and also try Atlantis a good water ride.Like i said if you are feeling the heat go to the Shamu show and sit in the splash zone you will get wet and i mean wet but its good fun-the Sahmu rocks show in the evening is really good as well. You can also cool down in the penguin exhibition its freezing in there.Enjoy:spin:
