Buying Crocs from MCO

My question is can I go and look at the Crocs shop in MCO after we have cleared security on arriving in Orlando but whist DH is waiting in the car hire que?;)

If I can, how far away is it from the Dollar car hire desk & is it worth the trip (I am Crocless and want to see all the varieties and colours)?:blush:

Do they have a good selection? Do they have kids in there? Do they sell the Disney ones?

Desperate to get DD some Disney ones and we don't hit a Disney park til day 3 (Typhoon Lagoon) and not sure if they will have a good enough selection for her.:cry:

Also has anyone on here let their kids have the Mary Jane Crocs for school summer shoes? If so are they OK and stand up to the task as DD is really hard waring on her school shoes.:angry:

You will be able to get them in MCO, yes, and they do have a pretty decent range. I can't recall if they had Disney ones though, sorry.

Since you've gotten a reply I'll add another one....lol. You can shop at the Croc store while DH is waiting for the car hire. The store is located around the food court area in the main terminal (same level that you arrive on when departing the tram that brings you over from the gate). Baggage claim is one level down and car hire is one level further down. Just be sure to communicate with DH before separating because there are car hire desk on both sides of the terminal (meaning A and B).

I called the store and she said they do not have any Disney Crocs in the store. They have a kiosk in gate area 100-129 and they have them. This picture is from the airport website:

lol! I actually can't stand the shoes myself but I understand how popular they are. Most of our Hallmark stores have Crocs and I've seen the Disney ones. I'm sure pricing varies a bit from place to place but I doubt there is a huge difference. It wouldn't surprise me if the airport was high because it typically is a last minute grab so they know you'll pay it if you really want it.

**I did get a bargain on a piece of luggage at the airport so you just never know.

The crocs shop has a very good range. We didn't see that many shops in Orlando that sold crocs and if we did they only had a very limited stock, so I think you will get more choice at the airport.
You will have no trouble finding Disnet Crocs in WDW, they are everywhere. Are you planning to go to Downtown Disney before your visit to Typhhon Lagoon? You can buy all manner of Disney Crocs in the World of Disney there.

Oh wow, what a girl, Thanks for this, this is above and beyond.:d::thumbs-up I did see the replies last night after DH asked if I had any responses to this question, I didn't realise he'd posted after me (whilst working), I should have known he was up to no good, showing an interest in Crocs.:erm:
