Sounds good, but I suggest something other than exploring the hotel on your first day as due to the time difference, you will be up very early. You might want to take advantage of an EMH at one of the parks, or even if one is not on that day, visit a park anyway :D

You'll probably be so excited that you'll explore the hotel as soon as you arrive (depending on what time you arrive)!

I am sure your girls will be desperate for some disney magic on their first full day!

definately plan to go in a park - otherwise you will waste a day!

Just moved you over to Itineries so that you may get a feel for what others are doing.

I know we are in the minority but we don't do a park on the first full day.

We relax,swim look around etc,just to unwind and get used to being there!

I understand where you are coming from - we do something relaxing on the first day - this year we are nearly doing Disney by going to Wilderness which is a very relaxing area of Disney, having a leisurely breakfast there and sunbathing by the lagoon and hiring boats - that way we get to see MK from the boats on the Disney lagoon but we are still relaxing without too many crowds around us. Can't wait.
