From your previous experiences, how accurate do you think these charts are?

Any comments would be most welcome!

Why are there two lights for each month? December has busy and empty in the same month! I guess it means first half and second half? In which case it looks mostly right from what I've seen and heard - but from what I've been reading on forums etc it's getting to be really busy at all the 'empty' times of the year too.

we have been at the start and at the end of december ( including new year which was a nightmare) . we found that up until a week or so before xmas it is quiet but after that is absolutely packed until a couple of days after new year.

We always found the stat of December to be quiet.
I don't pay much attention to many of the busy / quiet days posted as if everyone avoided what was listed as busy days then they wouldn't be busy, some parks we have been to have been very quiet.

I don't tend to bother with the busy day guides anymore as they all seem to contradict each other. The one you have shown is showing Sat and Sun as some of the best days to visit US! Surely that can't be accurate as most of the time all the theme parks are busier at weekends.

I just use my own judgement and if staying off-site I avoid the EMHs at the parks.

We also used this website in october 2006. It has been updated recently but the older version definitely worked for us. We printed of the chart and took it to Florida with us. We followed the best days to go and we very rarely had to queue up for a long time to go on some of the more popular rides.

I used this for our trip last year and all but 2 days worked out pretty much right....I combined it with the one on touringplans.com as this tends to be more accurate....the only reason for the 2 days that didn't work is that we like to do Seaworld on our first day and Epcot on our last day and both these were down as busy days so we expected it.

Yeah I agree really. It's especially valid now that more and more people are on the net and using these very guides! We still do look at them a little and avoid days they all agree on (very few!), but mainly we will avoid EMH and water parks at weekends.

I think these busy day guides are more relevant to how generally busy parks are from month to month rather than individual parks on certain days...
