Drinks in Disney and Universal Parks...

How much do the drinks bottles cost in the disney and universal parks - the ones where you pay once and get drinks all day?
Do you need a new one for each park and do they expire daily?

Think they were $8 each when there last month..Disney dont do the refills though ...Only universal do them ..You can use them at both universal parks although they say only good for same day we have never had a problem filling them at any time

disney do the refils in TL and BB and in the resort hotels but i think they only last for that day not sure if the resort ones last all the time you are there, but i could and proberbly am wrong im sure someone will know

When we first went to Disney in 2004 you could buy a souvenier cup and have it filled quite cheaply throughout the day, didn't see them in 2006 or 2007 though.

when we were there 2006 we bought a cup at port orleans and could fill it up any time we certainly got our monies worth we never see any cups like this in the parks:d: only the water parks hope this helps!!!:wave:

universal cup costs $6ish (sorry cant remember the excat amount) but the refils are 74c, we used the same cup over 5 days so it worked out well,

A refill would be cheaper than paying $2 for a bottle of water.

Universal and Annheuser Busch are both offering various deals on eat/drink as much as you want where you can buy a wristband and get food or drink all day long at nominated eateries. The AB offer is cheaper and seems to be better value, but you can split the Universal offer between parks, and food and drink if you want.

AK is the only Disney theme park to offer a refillable cup, the ones with animal topper for around $7, refills are 99c. Don't forget that if you have the DDP you can get drinks with snack credits.

The Disney water parks sell a refillable cup for about $10, free refills all day, you can buy another barcode for I think $6 if you want to use it another day.

Universal and AB parks all have refillable cups around $6 with cheap (under $1) refills, they are interchangeable between parks and can be used on more than one day, good value.

When we were there last month we bought the souvinier(sp) cups in all the parks and other than MK my DH was able to get refills in all of them. Not sure of cost but will ask later if needed
