What do fellow Dibbers feel is the scariest ride in the Orlando Area?:erm:

well its not a coaster but i would go for ToT as you never know whats going to happen as each ride is different it scared me to death but i still had to ride it
I'd go for TOT as well. But a first ride on Mission Space has to go down as my scariest experience. Not the ride itself, just the build up of anticipation and worry from what others had said. Oh, and the fact that the previous week someone had died didn't help! My heart was jumping out my chest. Still, a good cardiac workout and I survived :)
Some coasters shake you about more for example Thunder Mountain at MK and Gwazi at BG. The bigger coasters when you have the restraint over your shoulders don't shake you about as much. Last year we holidayed with an 11 year old who was scared of all the big coasters and we went on the newish Shamu kiddy coaster at SW and we thought it was worse than some of the bigger adult coasters as we were shaken about a lot more.

Have to agree that its the Tower of Terror.
I love Rock n Roller, The Hulk, Kraken, Deulling Dragons, but ToT SCARES THE SOCKS OFF ME.
Been on it twice in 2001, haven't been on it since,
yes my name is Mark and I'm a big girl!

I would have to say that the scariest ride there would be the Kraken at sea world or maybe tower of terror at MGM

I don't think there are any in Orlando that are scary.
However, Gwazi at Busch scares the life out of me - it's so rickety and you always feel like the cart is going to fly off the track! I hate that ride. It's violently bumpy too :(

Nope, it's been a long time since I've been scared of a ride, and I'm fairly sure there are tonnes of people who feel the same. The closest I've come to being scared of a ride since I was a kid has been Dr Doom's Fear Fall, but that was more down to adrenaline than anything else. My heart was pumping in anticipation of it and then when it launched it was a huge dissapointment.

I hadn't been on big coaster for years when we went to Orlando last October, so when we queued for Kraken at Seaworld this was the fisrt big coaster i went on during the holiday the blood was pumping, and then it shook my head around quite a bit. So i would say this was my scariest as when i got off i was rather white and had jelly legs......
However i went on to do all the other big coasters in all the parks after i got over that first one.:pgig::pgig:

ToT. Definitely. I'm not scared of coasters but ToT is just something else. So real. I honestly thought I was going to die! As for coasters Gwazi is probably the nearest thing to scary just because wooden coasters feel just that little bit more unsafe.
There was another ride at BG that I can't remember its name. It was near the pirate ship and it zig-zags along with fast, sharp turns. Not really a roller coaster, but was quite disconcerting.

I don't like rides that spin round fast. So for me it's sandstorm at Busch Gardens.

Don't really get scared by rides but would say the closest I get to scared is going up the first slope on Sheikra. It just seems so steep! After that though it's excellent!

We don't think any are scary in Orlando area - they're just FUN! :D
Gwazi and the climb on Sheikra are a little scary but not Orlando area ... Busch Gardens has the best coasters by far. Front or back rows though - more of a rush.

Me too I thought Dr Doom's Fear fall was going to be a real rush but it was rubbish!
I didn't find any of Orlando's coasters scary (I still love them though) Sheikra wasn't running when I went so hopefully I'll get to ride that this year.
One coaster that did scare me silly though was The Cyclone at Coney Island NY, It shakes you around so much it hurts, great fun though and probably my fave coaster ever! :d:

Front or back rows though - more of a rush.
I always try to ride right at the back of coasters as thats where you're supposed to get the best ride closely followed by the front! They said that on an episode of Tomorrows World that i saw as a kid, Ive stuck to it ever since :d:

I love all the rollercoasters but haven't ever done Tower of Terror without screaming my head off!!!! I try and stop myself each time I go on but just can't do it without screaming however hard I try.
I must admit, I'm not really scared by the rides as such, just scared I will aggravate my back or neck again!
"..... sit up straight, head back.....pray"
OK, maybe just a little bit scared then :)

Shame they don't let you take burgers and milk shakes on like they did on Jim'll Fix It. :pgig:
I've never laughed so much as I did on the back of Gwazi. That coaster really is something else. :thumb:
