Hi :wavey:

Has anyone done the 'Orlando Adventure Express' tour at Seaworld?
Its the 7 hour tour that allows you to feed dolphins, rays etc and you also meet a penguin and get vip seating at the shows and front of line passes for the rides...

I am considering booking this as both myself and DD10 LOVE animals (and I have always wanted to get up close with a penguin lol!!!)

any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

many thanks

Gabby

Hi

I won't have to pay park admission as I'm getting free entry as part of my Discovery Cove ticket, but at the time I want to go (September) the cost is $100 per person - not sure if you would have to pay entry on top of that?

we did this last year was a really good tour with fotl on coasters, the animal encounters were great u do get to stroke a penguin but at arms length so as not to scare it. Lunchis included sitting by shamu pool there was whale in pool while we were there. Guide was great given free bottles of water. Time flew by. Would def recomend it.

Hi paulaandhappy!!!! :d:

Great - thanks for the positive feedback, do you mind answering a few questions?

1. Are you with the guide for the whole 7 hours?
2. What type of food do they serve at the buffet? (my DD is not keen on cold food such as salad etc...)
3. Do you get a fair amount of time to spend with each of the animals?, and is there much interaction?

many thanks in advance

we did it in april (me, DH and DD-4). the only time we weren't with our guide was during lunch. buffet at the cove (next to shamu training pool very close to the killer whales!). i wrote about our trip on this page of our report
seaworld tour (http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?p=2272544#post2272544)
we had a great time and would highly recommend it. we saw all the major attractions and had no queues for rides and reserved seating at the shows. ask if you have any more questions

hi Gabby
To answer your questions
1. Guide is there all time apart from lunch.
2. Food is a buffet the majority cold apart from hot dog that I rem, good selection tho including desserts.
3. Animal interaction is good can't complain got to feed dolphins and stingrays , stroke penguin it was good to see a bit of what is behind the scenes.

Am sure if u decide to book it u will have a " whale " of a time!
We enjoyed it a lot and this year we have booked the night adventure tour.

When we had the buffet in June there were 3 or 4 hot dishes inc beef casserole, pasta dishes, roast chicken. Hot rice and veg was also available with mash and fries. Plenty of cold to choose from aswell. All the drinks were free inc beer.
You get to feed dolphins, sea lions and stingrays.
Excellent day and would def do it again. :)
