Hi all,
We are staying onsite at CSR and won't be hiring a car, however my brother is obsessed with labels (I hate shopping) so need to buy some bits.

I also promised dbf we'd have lunch at hooters. We can go to 2 malls if necessary but want a decent range of shops.

I want some new Vans, bro likes A+F, Lacoste, Ralph Lauren etc etc.

We don't want to spend a fortune in taxis so where is best to go?

Also is there much at DTD?

Thanks

Mitch

If I were you I would go to I Drive as there is a lot of choice and you can also use the I-Trolley!

Good luck and happy planning!

There is a Hooters at crossroads but after that I'm not sure where there is one.

Get the bus to DTD then jump in a cab to the premium outlets about $12 lots of shops there my ds15 got Lacoste jeans for $38 in the sale and he takes a mens size, from there you can jump onto the high ride to international drive for a couple of dollars if you buy a one day ticket you can get on and off where ever takes your fancy and you can ride all the way to prime outlets though it might take a while not sure about a hooters though

Personally I'd get a taxi to hooters at the crossroads.
You could possibly walk to Premium outlets (http://www.premiumoutlets.com/outlets/store_listing.asp?id=17) but it'll be cheap for another taxi to the other side of the I4.

Overall map is here (http://maps.live.com/default.aspx?v=2&FORM=LMLTCP&cp=28.364592~-81.514006&style=r&lvl=13&tilt=-90&dir=0&alt=-1000&scene=3950159&phx=0&phy=0&phscl=1&sp=Point.nqy65c867z7p_Premium%20Outlets____~Point. nqxtwj867cb9_Hooters____~Point.nqth1q862h07_CSR___ _&encType=1) showing CSR, hooters and Premium Outlets.

As a resident my suggestion would be to get to International Drive. Personally I would do a taxi because our bus system can take forever and day and if you don't mind spending on the taxi it will be your easiest option.

I would have your taxi take you to Premium Outlet (http://www.premiumoutlets.com/outlets/outlet.asp?id=17) which will probably cover all of the options you want with the exception of Hooters. From Premium you could take the I-Ride Trolley (http://www.iridetrolley.com/visitorInformation/maps.asp) and get off at Pointe Orlando (http://www.pointeorlando.com/) which has a Hooters to do your lunch. If you still need to shop a bit more you could take the trolley further down to Prime Outlet (http://www.primeoutlets.com/cntrdefault.asp?cntrid=1077) which is another good place for labels. Across the street from prime is Festival Bay (http://www.shopfestivalbaymall.com/html/) where they have a Vans Skatepark which would have some great Vans options for you if you don't find them out the outlets. Also at Festival Bay is Cricketers Arms Pub so you could grab a pint before heading back to your resort.

If two taxi fees are too much for you I would recommend you go to the first stop via a Lynx bus and use the taxi for the return so that you can manage your bags easier.

Hope this helps!

Thankyou so much, very helpful, any idea how expensive taxis are? I have heard we should get free bus to DTD first?

Hooters is actually at the Vista Center on Palm Parkway, not at Crossroads, there is also one at Pointe Orlando on I Drive.

If you are going to take a taxi just go from the hotel. There is no benefit of going to DTD first. I would figure on roughly $35 for the taxi (not including tip) each way.
