Iphone Apps Recommendations

I'm just in the process of adding Applications to my new Iphone.

So what are your favs? What ones should I add? What are the ones I can't live without and what ones am I best to avoid?

Can't remember what it's exact name is but I liked the scenario poker (texas hold'em) one. I was on it all the time. I don't have an iphone anymore as I sold t'other week. Then there was battleships also - that was fun. I didn't bother with many to be honest.

Just listening to the TWiT podcast and they mentioned Midomi and Shazam.

Shazam is very very impressive :)

One thing I will say, is that be careful with updating apps.

If you reboot the phone while an app update is in process you will crash your phone!

You will need to hold the home button down and then connect to iTunes for a restore. This is a very bad bug that needs fixing ASAP.

In my opinion, all "purchases" (even free) and updates for applications should be done using iTunes and not the phone.

I have had this problem with the old and new iPhone.

Thanks for that Andy, I will bare that in mind. At the moment, I'm downloading all of the Apps via ITunes and not the phone.

I love Crash Bandicoot Nitro. I've also got Super Monkey Ball but find that a bit too sensitive with the accelerometer and sometimes struggle getting it to start up on my Ipod Touch

Of the free Apps I like jirbo break and also Cube Runner.
