Hi everyone, we are going to wdw in a few days time( :D:D )and we have an 8 year old. We were wondering whether he would be old enough to do the horseback riding at the Tri-Circle-D Ranch at WDW?:confused2
Has anyone done it - any reviews??
Many Thanks Everyone!:d::d:

There is a lower age limit but for the life of me I cant remember what it is, I remember thinking it was daft as by 6 or 7 my boys could both trot canter and jump but they werent allowed to go on a walk only ride at WDW!

I'll have a look about and see if I can find the info.

Grand Cypress will let younger ones ride - they are BHS approved as well.

i did this last year and really enjoyed it but i think the minimum age is 9.

They try to match the horse to the rider in terms of size but they are still huge in my opinion!:d: There was a lad in our group around 14yo and he struggled to control the horse as it kept wanting to go off the trial to eat the grass (which you are told they are not allowed to do). You go in single file so you would not be able to help, he had to wait for the guides to come and help

My daughter found they're not very big on wearing hats, she was one of the few in her group (think it was Horseworld) who wore a hat.

My daughter rides here in the UK so would love to book the Tri-Circle-D for her. Can anyone tell me how much the 45 min trail ride costs?
