I think I paid around $150 for one last year. Not 100% sure but it was something close to this.

We bought one last year for our daughter's Xmas present and we paid $200 - £100.00.

We bought it from the Apple shop at Florida Mall.

the apple store at mall at millenia had them for $149 when we were there 3 weeks ago!! had all kinds of colours but check walmart also for prices!

An 8gb nano in Argos is £128.97 and in Walmart it's $182.54 plus tax so that's about £30 cheaper

I was told by an Apple employee that Walmart can only sell their Apple products $1 less than in the Apple store. That may not be true for items on sale (which Apple never does) accessories or clearance items so Walmart might be a place to check just to be sure. I wouldn't expect a huge difference between the two though.

I've heard mixed answers on this. My personal experience was when I was married in the UK and a friend in the US sent us one for a gift. It had a problem and the Apple Store at Brent Cross wouldn't work with us. We had to send it back to our friend for her to deal with.

Having said that the Apple Store here in the US have been quite helpful now that we live here and have electronics from the UK that we brought with us.

IPOD Nano 8GB is about £110 in UK. On Walmart web site $182.54 + tax. So a little cheaper.

DH bought an Ipod over there and it had a problem when we got back. He took it to the Apple shop here and they sorted it no problem.:thumbs-up
