Hi

Thanks to mcsue's picture of the Chocolate Macadamia Nut Tart I now have to goto Kona Cafe when I go in September. :nonono: :pgig:

What I'm thinking of doing is having a late start and going straight to Kona Cafe for lunch around 12, then go onto Magic Kingdom for the rest of the day / evening.

I've got a couple of questions -

- I go at the end of September / start of October, am I likely to need an ADR for lunch around 12?

- Is there a dress code? I couldn't see one on the Disney site but in the pictures people look reasonably smart, are we going to be OK in shorts and tshirt?

- Finally, are there any 'traditions' there that I should be aware of? I'm not a fan of being the centre of attention if I can avoid it so would rather be prepared (I can live without Ketchup for example :D)

Thanks!!

You will be absolutely fine in park attire here especially considering you are going for lunch. No "traditions" as far as I know.:confused2

Also, considering you are catching the tail end of free dining, I would recommend an ADR. I expect you wouldn't have too much of a problem with a lunch, an ADR would most definately be needed for dinner. But probably not worth the risk.:thumbs-up

We had to get ADR's for our 2 lunch trips at Kona cafe as its was very busy with DDP. This was towards the end of Sept last year.

Thanks guys, I'll make an ADR then, better to be safe than sorry! Just got to decide on what day to go now!

You won't regret it - had a lovely meal at Kona last time, I preferred the Banana Creme Brulee over the Tart!
We are having a brekkie and a dinner there during our stay at the Poly
