Tom Tom problem

Hi All, I have a problem with my Tom Tom go 300 and wondered if any one else had the same problem, and a solution.
It was working fine but now it sometimes turns itself off in mid journey, sometimes when this happens it will come back on then I can select my journey again.
Sometimes I have to turn it back on again.
The other problem I have is that sometimes it will give me an error to say there is no SD card inserted when of course there is.
Any deas any one ?

Have you tried resetting it using a paper clip in the small hole near the SD card slot?

Yes I did this while my dh was driving around birmingham, did nothing and we nearly came to fisty cuffs:angry: cos he didn't think I was doing it righ:erm: MEN... he tried and still it would not work...

I was having problems with mine and emailed Tomtom and they sent me a email of how to fix it and it works fine now.
