Yes, DW here, it is GREAT!! Is a small venue, square seating, going up in teirs so everyone has a good view although they do have large screens showing all the detailed bits!! You will have a brill time, funny, brilliant visuals, sound etc. When its all over you can get a photo and 'signature' with the Blue Men in the foyer, its packed but if you hang back a while everyone clears off and you can get the the BM easily.

Hi,

We went last year and enjoyed it so much much we are going again this year.

Not done Cirque as the idea doesn't appeal to us although there are many fans of the show on here.

A quick search on the boards should bring up a number of threads on both shows.

We did the BMG in June and I must admit I do prefer the Cirque. A man to the side of me thought it was hillarious but I must admit I hardly found any of it funny.

We were a bit like this too. It was certainly a spectacle, and some of it was clever, the kids liked the marshmallow catching (dont want to give any spoilers), but to be honest, a lot of it was just them acting stupid ( with a teenager and a nearly - teenager i have enough of that as it is already!):d:

I tried to see it through the kids' eyes, but whilst i was glad we went, we won't go back. Whereas we've seen Cirque 3 times and enjoyed it each time.

Just didn't float our boat i suppose, but you dont know till you try it.

We are having the same discussion as to which show to see.

At the moment Cirque is the preferred choice unless fellow Dibbers can persuade us otherwise.

We are going to see the BMG next year. We've never done an evening show and I wanted to see the Cirque show but no-one else fancied it abd showed more interest in BMG .I am glad the majority like the show but it really is one of those things whereby some like it and others don't.

We saw BMG in Las Vegas four years ago and it was good. Saw BMG and CdS in Orlando last December and, while BMG was better than I remembered, CdS was jaw-dropping; best night's entertainment ever for me.

The people who don't like BMG probably don't really like the music - solid American rock, with a bit of dance (drum&bass) thrown in (the Orlando show ended with the sounds of the KLF pumping out of the sound system, a really fun moment)

CdS is sensory overload - multiple awe inspiring acts on stage at a time, great music (slightly left-field dancey jazz with operatic vocals), great lighting. The thing about CdS is they take really good circus acts and make them entertaining - trapeze is not entertaining, CdS trapeze is great. This does not work for the clowns, but that just goes to prove that clowns are irredeemable.

Personally, I'd go to CdS, but either night will be good.
