ghosting on my tv

does anyone know how to solve the problem of ghosting on an lcd tv? it haapened for the first time last nite when i was watching special victims unit however when i changed channels it disaapeared...any solutions?

Ghosting is caused by multiple reflected signals being picked up by your aerial. The area I live is awful for it. We bought a huge Joddrel Bank tv aerial, but no joy. On Match of the Day, they were kicking 4 footballs.

So it is a problem which is always there. To have it on one channel and not another makes me think the program itself was at fault. As long as the problem has gone away now, I wouldn't worry about it.

How are you watching it? Terrestrial, satellite or cable? If it's the former then it could be as Lyn the Pin says, if it's the other types of media then it could well be at the distant end having problems. We are on Virgin Media and they occasionally have problems. Is the channel you were watching it on still the same?
