Anyway to cut a long story short, i know exactly what resturant it is, and it always smells so nice.I am just wondering, do you HAVE to make a ADR or can you just go and hopefor the best?

The thing is, we might not go to MGM its just depends on the time we have a money etc. But do you have to have a ADR for it?

Well I suppose you take your chance if you don't make an ADR. We have been and it was nice.

you can take your chance at any restaurant, but you are quite likely to have a very long wait, or not get a table.
A better strategy is to make an ADR as you enter the park. We do this quite often, just go to Guest Services in the morning and ask them to make you an ADR for lunch/dinner time. I've made an ADR as little as an hour ahead and been seated just as if I'd made it 180 days earlier, whilst walk-ups have been turned away.

thank you for the help.We just dont want to makthe ADR as we still aint sure if we are doing mgm, but if we are we will certainly go to guest services in the morning :) As we saw it last year but it was mobbed :)

If you make an ADR there is nothing lost as you can always cancel it, unless you thinking of booking the Fantasmic package and then I think they ask for a deposit.
