Thinking of going to St Augustine for the day. Is parking plentiful? :)

Hi we went last time in October and there wasa festival going on on a big field in the centre and we still got a parking space in the main car park, it a multi storey if i remember but not a huge high one just covers lots of space by the town hall xx

Hi,we have been to St.Augustine every time we have been to Florida and never had any trouble parking. There is parking on street and parking by the Fort this is for 2 hours payable in a machine, then there is the larger car park as mentioned before If you have not been to St.Augustine before you will love, it we do (you must try the ice cream shop on St. George St)

As the others have pointed out there is parking, especially up at the fort, I would recommend spending a couple of days there, there is plenty to see and do. They also do a trip around the bay for a couple of hours. Also the train tour around the town is a handy way of getting around, you can get on and off when ever you like have a look at what you want then continue the tour on the next train.

For those that have driven up to St Augustine, roughly how long would it take. I assume you would use I-4 towards Daytona and I-95 North, or is there a quicker easier way from Kissimmee area.
