I know I'm probably becoming (already am) a pain in the you know where but I have another question re my new computer.

When it started up it asked for a password which I decided on and started up the computer. It now asks for it everytime I start the computer.

I'd either like to take the option away or change the password but don't know how to.

Any ideas? I've got the new Windows Vista and I'm afraid everything is a little different at the moment.

Thanks in anticipation of some help.

hiya, if you go into your CONTROL PANEL and select USER ACCOUNTS AND FAMILY SAFETY there is an option to CHANGE YOUR WINDOWS PASSWORD

hope this is what you're looking for. I have vista too, but I don't like it much

Thanks Myra I'll give it a go - I don't know if I like or dislike Vista yet, it's all too new and I'm afraid I'm going to completely mess it up. :confused2 I'm fine when it works when it doesn't I'm a complete numpty!!

Thanks again.

Edited to say - thanks that worked.
