We went to DC last year for the twilight swim, my BF still insists that he had the best meal of his life there - if anyone else has been they'll know what im talking about.
What im looking to find out is what the lunch is like - is it a sit down affair with lots of variety or is it standard fare like burgers and chips?
we're not 100% sure if we're going to go back at christmas but this might swing it!
Lunch is buffet style. From what I remember there wasn't loads of choice but it was a lot better than just burger and chips. I'm sure there was salmon, sorry can't remember the other choices now. Strawberrys for dessert or chocolate mousse.

My mum and I went last year. She still talks about the Macaroni Cheese she had, says its the best she has ever tasted.
From what I remember it was buffet style. I don't think it was the standard burger and fries. I think there was lots of hot food choices as well as lovely salads.
I want to go back to DC now.

You go up and ask for what you want and they plate it up. Yes there are burgers and hotdosg but also things like salmon and hot beef sandwiches. There are many more stuff aswell plus when you have collected that go along and get your dessert fresh strawberries or carrot cake and lots of other stuff

the lunch at dc was brilliant, we had salmon, pasta, salad, there were lots of choice including chicken dishes etc, and very nice desserts too. we were very naughty as went for lunch at around 12noon, when we walked past at 3.30 they were still serving so son and hubbie went and had another (lunch)

Food at Discovery Cove was certainly excellent!
I loved everything about DC and I wasn't doing the swim with the Dolphin, that was our DD's treat. But it was a fantastic day and if we can afford it we will be doing it again in October.

We haven't been since 2004, but during that trip, there were around 8 choices of main meals and they all looked lovely. I had sweet and sour chicken with noodles, which was delish! For dessert, a large slice of chocolate fudge cake, topped with mini M&Ms and whipped cream - delish!
