There is usually a long queue of people waiting for tables. I would make a reservation if you can or be prepared to wait a while.

Yes, make an ADR. Always a lot of people just turning up on the off chance and they have to wait a fair while.

We've never booked a table, and never had much wait when we have been in October, although we have probably eaten before 7.30pm.

We've eaten at Planet Hollywood several times and have never made an ADR. Sometimes we've had to wait about 10 minutes or so and other times we've been seated almost straight away. It does depend which time of year you visit and also the time of day. We've only ever been in May and June around 5pm.
We were thinking of going for an early meal say 5.00pm-5.30pm before the crowds get there.

I would always make an ADR now - save being disappointed.

We were there last September during free dining, had an ADR for 7pm and were seated straight away but i did hear them telling people without an ADR it was an hour wait. Kids loved it so much decided to go back on our last night (a friday) with no ADR, arrived around 5-5:30pm and were seated straight away, so just depends on your timing, if you're early it should be ok.

If you can get one I would make an ADR, if you change your mind you can always cancel it, however it may save a long wait on the day, what have you got to lose?
