View Full Version : Christmas Day lunch
Can anyone suggest anywhere for Christmas lunch? We would prefer a buffett and a non disney location if possible. Thanks for your help.Does anyone know the cost of the buffett at GF Park Fare?
Thanks

Have you thought of Gaylord Palms? You could go there for a meal and also visit the ICE Exhibit. They have a few other things on as well that make it a really nice day.
As the season approaches keep an eye on the Christmas In Orlando (http://www.christmasinorlando.com/) website. They keep most of the options shown on it and it has loads of great information.

Unfortunately Park Fare doesnt serve lunch (although some restaurants that dont SOMETIMES have an extra service over the busy peak periods). There are very few resort restaurants that do lunch - you could try Whispering Canyon Cafe (Wilderness Lodge) or Kona Cafe (Polynesian). Whispering Canyon is a "family style" buffet - in that they bring a skillet of food to your table and you can ask for more as many times as you want. We did that for our Xmas day lunch in 2006.

Gaylord would be a great choice.
We stayed at the Rosen on I-Drive a few years back, their Xmas Day buffet outshone Disney by a long shot, awesome.
I bet the Renaisance (sp!) at Seaworld should be good also based on their fantastic Sunday Brunch.
Thanks for your replies. I will give the Rosen and Gaylord Palms a ring.
