Hello everyone, did my first pre-trip tonight and now its time for my draft iternary!! I need lots of help, feedback and tips though as a first timer please
Ps for info travelling is me, emma 24 1st timer and dbf matt 23 been a few times.
so here goes:
Fri 2nd Oct- Fly from LGW and arrive into sanford at 15.35. Pick up car, dump bags at hotel, take in surroundings, eat then sleep!
Sat 3rd Oct-Seaworld
Sun 4th Oct- Universal
Mon5th Oct- B/Beach am then shopping Pm, maybe DTD in the evening for meal
Tues 6th Oct- Busch Gardens
Wens 7th Oct- Magic Kingdom
Thurs 8th Oct- Aquatica
Fri 9th Oct- Hollywood Studios
Sat 10th Oct- I.O.A and MNSSHP
Sun 11th Oct Animal Kingdom
Mon 12th Oct Discovery Cove
Tues 13th Oct Epcot
Wens 14th Oct- T/Lagoon Am then more shopping PM
Thurs 15th Oct- 4 year anniversary:inlove: Favourite park then a dining package (any suggestions?)
Fri 16th- pack, DTD to say goodbye then airport then home :-(
As you can see i havent though about any ADRS or dining packages as this is where i will need help to. DBF thinks that we might be to tired after the parks to have dining reservations but i want to make a effort especially on our anniversary.
I know i have packed alot in, maybe wont spend two afternoons shopping but im not to fussed on waterparks to be honest as i am a scaredy cat on rides plus i get terrible heatrash so if im just sat in the sun i will notice it more whereas if im on the move in the parks i will forget about it (hopefully)
Anyway all help apreciated.

Helo Emma
I think your iternary is brilliant; Seaworld would be my first park if i had a choice, but i dont lol, so its MK then IOA and on day 3 we sleep lol.
You are going to be very busy but as i say; you just have to do it...
For a special meal i would look at the Disney hotels or broad walk look up mkingdon trippies he has lots of pictures of good resterants but you will have to book.

Lovin your itinerary; looks really good.
I would definitely recommend that you start thinking about where you would like to eat as DP and I found that when we hadn't made reservations we ended up with nasty fast food which is fine for the first few days but soon gets tiresome. I had made some ADRs before we went but ended up calling to book more during our stay.
You don't mention where you are staying - if it's on International Drive or in a villa with a car then you will have more options. We were on site in Disney :inlove: with no car so were more limited.
Based on where you think you may be the following are worth considering.....
DTD has plenty of options - if you only want a casual snack meal then the Earl of Sandwich is good but we also went for a more formal meal at Wolfgang Pucks - the upstairs restaurant which was absolutely lovely. That might be ideal for your anniversary - beautiful view over the lake, incredibly attentive waiter and menu customised to suit us..... I think I only have a pic of dessert from that night....

Oh and view from the window behind me

Oh and one night we had pasta at Wolfgang Puck Express which was very good and relaxed, sat outside.
Magic Kingdom - we did 2 character meals here which I love (may not be your thing) - Crystal Palace breakfast - Winnie the Pooh and Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner - Minnie, Pluto and co. They don't actually work out expensive and you get a decent meal.
MGM studios - Hollywood & Vine (Buffet) and Brown Derby (Table service). Brown Derby didn't work out well for me as a fussy vegetarian but DP loved it. They are also both part of the Fantasmic package but to be honest I wouldn't do that again as I would prefer to get there early and be able to sit in the centre of the stadium rather than the reserved section on the side.
Animal Kingdom -
Donald's Breakfastosaurus - buffet character meal - excellent fun and good selection.
We also ate at the Rainforest cafe which was heaving and noisy but the food was fine.
EPCOT - Garden Grill - another character meal but the location was cool - in the land pavillion on the rotating platform and the food was amazing and there was loads of it - this was informal table service.
We also ate at Chef Mickey's - character breakfast at the Contemporary Resort (on the monorail route from MK), had a wonderful dinner at Kona Cafe in the Polynesian resort (also on the monorail route) and had a breakfast at Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge which was nice, if a bit dark.
Sorry, there is probably too much info here but hope a little bit of it helps. Good luck, you have plenty of time to read reviews before you need to start making your reservations.

Hi Emma you must try the olive garden internationl drive its great, also the golden coral, Le Cellier steakhouse in Epcot, also there is a new restaurant opening in downtown Disney fall 2008 called T-Rex which sounds good. there are lots of dinner shows out there to pick from this time we are doing dine with shamu at seaworld, we done Mickey's Backyard BBQ last year which is good fun for the kids if you have any.

Hi Emma,
I would suggest getting the book "Brits guide to Orlando", since we first heard about it we have always purchased it once we have booked up.
Its updated annually and the 2009 book will be out around the end of the year.
We use the busy day guide to help plan our trips to the parks on the quietest days. (works great)
They also have a website askdaisy.net for current updates.
All the best
