Has any dibber ate at this restaurant and whats your views.
Also looking for recommendations for a good Tex / Mex restaurant..
Thanks;)
We ate there on our first ever visit, and at the time found it OK. On a later visit we went back and were disappointed because by then we had found lots of other better restaurants which offered better value. So, the bottom line is that I wouldn't recommend it. Depending on what you are after there are much better restaurants. What type of meal were you looking for? If steak I would recommend Texas de Brazil. If general cuisine, try The Cheesecake Factory (at the Mall of Millenia).

We loved it the first time we went. We have been back a couple of times but were so disappointed both times that we will not be going again and it is expensive for the quality you get.

We went to Key W Kools on our visit two years ago and were very impressed. The steaks were excellent, but from other posts I have read it does seem rather hit and miss.
we went last time on the recomendation of the villa owner we found it very disapointing and not good value for money sorry but we wouldnt go again :(

We went to Key W Kools on the 192 a few years ago and haven't returned since. It was quiet when we went yet the service was very slow and I could barely understand our server as she mumbled quietly which is so unusual. Worse was to come when the entire restaurant filled with smoke from the open pit and then after and hour and a half our food came. We were too tired to enjoy it by then although I think it could have been above average tasting. The manager did come out and apologise to all the customers but that was no compensation for trying to eat an above average priced meal in a smoke filled pit!

Ate there in 2006 and although my steak was great, others in our party didn't rate it and it was expensive. Wouldn't go again.

It's been a tradition for us to eat here each time we go over and the ribs and steak have always been excellent, but we did notice the service was a bit lacking when we went in '06. However this year when we went, the service was appalling, the salad had definitely seen better days and the steak and ribs were 'ok' but we weren't offered the usual fries/jacket with them - they came as extras. I don't think we'll bother next time - I guess the competition is too great now. There are better places.

Over priced, and not very good quality meals...
We wouldn't go again, but give it a try, you may be lucky and be there on a good night...

This place used to be fantastic in the Early nineties, yes it was expensive but the food and ambience reflected this..
went again a couple of years ago and the Crab was dry, the service was abysmal and I have not been back since.
I have heard Capital Grill at Point Orlando is a very good upmarket/expensive SteakHouse
other than this Longhorns has been very good on previous visits
Went on one of our previous trips. Food was good but expensive compared to other steak restaurants. We wouldn't go back.

We used to eat there several times on each holiday and always enjoyed it until last year. We had the most appalling service and the food was very mediocre. The place has clearly gone downhill and I won't be eating there ever again.

It's nice enough but twice the price you pay at other steak houses (Outback, Logans, Longhorns).
Personally I wouldn't go back.

I've yet to find a better steak than is served at Key W Kools and we have tried quite a few different places. When it's time for a large tasty steak Keys is our place to head for. Normally go for the 32oz porterhouse although I have yet to finish one.
It's not the cheapest, but neither is it the most expensive. For steak I much prefer it to Charleys, Butchers Shop, Outback etc
Used to prefer it when they had guest microbrewery beers available tho'.
