We are going out in October we are planning to visit the following, in what order we don't know. Can any of you dibbers give us some tips as to which days are better to visit certain parks? We do not have a car and we are staying at Springhill Suites, Marriott Village. Here goes-
Discovery Cove

Universal Studios
Islands Of Adventure
Water Park - not sure which one

Aren't you going to Magic Kingdom? In My opinion it's the best park by far. How long are you going for? That makes all the difference in planning stuff.
Welcome, by the way:tounge:
If you haven't booked discovery cove I would put it somewhere in the middle. It's a real chill out pampering day.
Only there 10 days, kids are older and trying to cram is as much as possible

Ok. Here goes. As I said before, DC is a full day and very relaxing. Do It more towards the end. KSC. Check the NASA website for any launches that maybe planned. No shuttles I'm afraid but there are a couple of rockets going off in October. Great for commentary when you are at KSC. I would maybe leave this for the second week. It's a bit of a drive but quite a relaxing day compared to the theme parks. US/IOA. I love these parks. If you like thrill rides (big and small) they are brilliant. Two days at least, Although you can check out both parks in one day)
AK you can easily do in one day. I would do this first. A nice introduction to Disney.
Epcot. Loads of walking. Do it on a day when you didn't have a late night before.
Seaworld. You will probably need two days to fit it all in, although it can be done in one day.
It all depends on what type of tickets you have. Check out all the fireworks/parades/show times and plan around them.
Most important of all, don't get too parked out and have fun;)

Hi Mack. I would think about...
Discovery Cove - Towards the next, v.relaxing & something to look forward too!
Kennedy Space Centre - Slot in where ever space allows
Universal Studios - Near the start/middle, then you can go back if you like it
Islands Of Adventure - Near the start/middle, then you can go back if you like it
Water Park - not sure which one - Towards the middle/end, as more relaxing
Epcot - Early on - lots of walking around the world showcase!!
Animal Kingdom - Early on, as you'll be up early during your first couple of days adjusting to the time difference so if you get to the park for opening you have a better chance of seeing the animals on the safari!
Seaworld - Slot in where ever space allows
Good luck - if you post your itinerary here we'd love to have a look at it!!

Hi and welcome to the dibb if you havent already got one i would say get yourself a copy of the Brits guide to Orlando it has a good busy day guide in it so that you can try to plan your visits according to which parks are the busiest/quietest !!!;)

Have you thought about hiring a car, at least for a few days? I know loads of people do fine on public transport, but as you are there for only 10 days you might find waiting for buses eats into your time.
If you decide against it, then loads of people on the DIBB will be able to give you details about the Lynx and I Ride buses.
Have a lovely time

I thought this book was brilliant too:)

Hi and welcome to the Dibb.
We would recommend getting the following books:
The Unoffical Guide to Walt Disney World & Beyond Disney both by Bob Sehlinger.
Both books are great reading and very informative.

Highly recommend the Brits Guide - it's full of useful info and so readable. I just bought the one for DLP too.
Welcome
Kennady Space centre ...need the day for this, its great
Universal and Islands of Adventure are both within the City walk Complex we normally break up the day Morn the Studios and afternoon in the Islands then go back another day and do the reverse and have dinner at the Hard rock or Margaritaville on the city walk.
Magic Kingdom needs to be seen that would be first for us
Discovery cove and seaworld need to have a gap after a visit to whichever is first, maybe Epcot then the other one,
Typhoon Lagoon is our Fav water park that would be good after Magic Kingdom you will need the rest
