my first idea!

ok, this is what we are planning to do.

we have 2 weeks one in orlando one on the gulf coast. I have ds who is 2 and dd 5.

first week we are staying in regal plams the second week in a house. I like the idea of self catering!

we only want to visit animal kingdom and magic kingdom in the disney parks and then sea world, and a water park or two.

the second week I thought we might go to busch gardens but if we didn't it would be no hardship.

so the cheapest way I thought would be to spend one day in each of the disney parks buying a two day myw pass and then a seaworld busch and aquatica combo giving us ultimate acess to the three parks, I could then do:

day 1 seaworld

day 2 animal kingdom

day 3 aquatica

day 4 magic kingdom arrive early do as much as possible until lunch have lunch and a nap at the hotel then return until as late as the kids can manage (hopefully till close)

day 5 shopping / aquatica

day 6 not much or maybe something else?

day 7-13 gulf coast with the odd trip to busch gardens

day 14 check in at dtd and then do seaworld again

what do you think? any suggestions would be great

Sounds good. What abut Hollywood Studios? Didn't know if your children would enjoy Beauty and the beast, muppets, toy story, HSM etc.

I really wanted to go, but ds is a big girls blouse and cries a lot, he gets a bit scared, he cries at fireworks and loud noises in general, we are going next October so if these two parks go down well we might do some more next year.

what I could do with is some suggestions for eating out. I want to go to sweet tomatoes but I want to know where else we shouldn't miss. I don't want too expensive or too fussy. we are not big eaters, and some where fun, i thought we should go to the rain forest cafe and I have just been looking at whispering canyon cafe.

also is it work a ppp night? they are normally in bed my 7.-7.30 so we need to get in training for some later nights

I'd suggest Rainforest Cafe on the AK day. Maybe Dine with Shamu at SW, depends how into animals your DS and DD are. It's a buffet dinner so you should be fine for choice as they have a childrens food area as well. :)

Next to Regal Palms is Berry Town Centre, Applebees is great very child friendly and you will be just around the corner so no travelling after your meal. Not expensive have a look at their website.:grin:

Ive heard that the Rainforest cafe is great but friends of ours took their ds7 in april he hated it as he doesnt like loud noises balloons and stuff the thunder storms frightened him they didnt stay in the end I dont have this problem though my ds19 didnt like noise when he was very young as he had gromits in his ears but all fine now Have a great time we have been recomended Friendlys apparentley very child friendly and cheap so will be giving it a go:wavey:

just a thought on day 5 -have heard that aquatica gets very busy and they can close the gates at 10.00 so you may want to do Aquatica then shop in afternoon !
