Hi
Check the Dibb villa link on the homepage theres some lovely ones on there. You can then put your preferences in the search engine for example how many miles from Disney and it will come up with a list you can have a look at. Lisaxxx

I've stayed in a villa in Kissimee and whilst it was nice it was at least a 30 minute drive back to Disney and other attractions in the Orlando area.
Now we stay in a villa in the Glenbrook resort which is just to the west of Disney on Highway 27 and north of the 192. This gives us an excellent base for Disney, the Premium Outlet Mall, and not far to the I-4 to get to Universal and Sea World. There are plenty of dining places to eat on the 192 and its like I-drive in that respect.

We are big fans of Highlands Reserve which is on the SR27 - close to WDW and everything else. Great villas set round a golf course, ticks all our boxes.

Another vote for the 27 you'll be spoilt for choice here. Not as close as some places that are off the 192 but TBH it doesn't take THAT long to get to Disney.
Hi Kellie,
I'm going to be biased but the communities in and around the ChampionsGate area are fab! WaterSong is on the US 17/92 and only ten minutes (at most) from ChampionsGate and also the I-4.
It is a good idea to check out the Dibb villa location map though as you'll be able to plan where you want to be in relation to the Parks etc.
Happy searching!

And another vote for 27 :) Walmart,Publix, Applebees, Chillis and all the restaurants on 192. Tha Manors ay Westridge is well established and well landscaped. It has a clubhouse with a large pool. We always stay ther!!!!!!:):)

got to be sunsetlakes/formosa gardens area, really close to everything
Hi Kellie
As you say 'we have always stayed at Disney' you've obviously been a couple of times at least.
I guess then that next time you will visit places other than Disney.
Whereas the western end of the 192 (H27) is 'closest' to Disney perhaps you would want to look at the area around the north end of Poinciana Blvd (communities include Terre Verde, Eagle Point, Cumbrian Lakes, Lake Berkely, Seasons, Indian Point)
From here you can get to Disney via the Osceola Parkway or to Seaworld and Universal by the 535 (or I4 if you are prepared for the morning traffic).
Loads of restaurants on the 192 and 2 big Walmarts within a couple of miles.
If you want to go to Busch then go south on Poinciana then west on Ronald Regan Parkway to pick up the I4 at Champions Gate.
We found it a really convenient location and only used the 192 for eating or shopping.

Hi Kellie
What are you looking for? Make a check list of your ideal villa, what your needs are, and what you want from the location.
It might be that you want a quiet gated community that you could walk round? or it might be more important to be able to walk to the nearest store?
Before we bought our villa, we used to have a list of requirements. Number one on our list was having enough bedrooms/bathrooms for our needs, then number two was always having internet access..... can't be without our laptops...... sad I know:pgig:, then next on the list was a pool which was not overlooked......... and so on!
So really its up to you.... there are plenty of lovely villas to chose from.
Have fun!

Hi,
We are on the 27 and it's a great location. Our home is on Highgate Park which is a Gated Community within Legacy Park - it's really lovely. Have a look at our Dibb advert and if you would like a price come back to me with how many people and what dates you are looking for then I'll come back to you asap.
Look at lots of info on this site but you can't go wrong with a villa after the hustle and bustle it just so great to go back to and relax in your own space.
Happy Planning
we are currently staying at glenbrook which is located on 27 north. all ammenities nearby and fantastic southfacing villa overlooking a lake. previously we used the serberth road to get to disney now we have discovered the new 429 toll road - its a breeze - wouldnt entertain the 192 now. its 9.30 pm and still 90 deg outside - just come in to the cool villa after eating outside - bliss

Hi,
We're biased but love Sunset Lakes and the Formosa Area!! Lindfields is great also - all are within quick & easy reach of Disney, have quick access to Sherberth Road cut-through and lots of restaurants nearby

Windsor Hills for me extremely close to disney, gated community and we love it this will be our second time staying here and cant wait.:)
Another vote for Championsgate area, it's really handy for I4, you've got a few restaurants if you don't want to drive too far and a great Publix. We've stayed on the 27 before and in my opinion it's a bit too far out the way, saying that we always go to Walmart at Cagans Crossing ! (on the 27)
After doing Hours of searching on villa locations we finally decided on the champions gate area because it's very central, only a few minutes from the I-4 and the 192, so gives easy access to both Disney and universal ect! far enough away for some peace and quiet but still only a few minutes drive to shops, resturants ect! :thumbs-up

We love the Formosa area - particularly Sunset Lakes :)

The Formosa area is one of the most popular areas and has several communities including Windsor Hills, Windsor Palms, Indian Creek, Rolling Hills, Formosa Gardens Estates, Acadia Estates, Oak Island, Emerald Island and Sunset Lakes.
It is just a few miles from Disney and takes around 7 minutes to Animal Kingdom. The Formosa Shopping Plaza has a selection of stores and restaurants including Outback Steakhouse and TGI Fridays and you are minutes from everything on the US-192.
However, most of the communities in and around the Disney area are very easy to reach, so take a look at the Dibb villas and see which ones tick your wishlist. You can either use the search facility HERE (http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/villa-search.php) to narrow down your choice, or put a post of the request section HERE (http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=94) outlining what you want and suitable owners will contact you directly wit their details.
Have a good time looking at all the fab villas available.
