Hi Everyone,
Thought i would introduce 'TheSavages'
We are a Family of 4, Lucy 6, Lloyd 13, we are off to the Magic on the 26th Sept, and cannot wait, i swear i am more excited than the kids are at the moment. Lucy loves her princess esp. Ariel, Lloyd is a thrill seeker, we have dinner booked at the Royal Table with Cinderella on the Sat 27th, Its a supprise for Lucy, so that shoud be a good start to the holiday
I have been online, almost everyday for the last 4 weeks, researching, buying guides, maps, working out the 2 week plan, I have mainly been on the Travel City Direct Forum asking for advice, until yesterday I can across 'TheDibbs' what a great site.
Disney - Not quite sure what to expect as yet, i have never looked forward to a holiday more than this one though, we booked 18mths ago, at the time seemed ages away, with 2 weeks to go it just around the corner.
If anyone can offer any words of advice, must do's, for rides and places to visit and great evening meals etc..i would be very greatful.
We have disney parks tickets and universal tickets...alot to cram in
Thanks in Advance

ok yes there are some good resturants for meals at dtd,and they have just built a new one called the dinasour resturant.they are redoing the clubs down there too, into all new eateries, but wont be ready for you on this visit.shopping and eating is great for evening entertaniment.
as for eating in magic kingdom your spoilt for choice to be honest, depends on the tastes of your family, but there is sure to be something for you all
be prepared to be blown away, its not like anything you can imagine and it makes our theme parks look dirty and useless thats my opinion lol

Hello! You must all be so excited!!!!! Just have fun and go with the flow, you'll want to pack it all in but try to take it slower and enjoy it! You'll want to return as soon as you get back anyway, so I'm sure there will be plenty of future trips!

My best pieice of advice is to go at the pace of your children. They are only young, so if they are tired, rest, if they are full of energy, hit the ground running.
You will have a wonderful time, I'm sure.

:wavey: Hi and a warm welcome to the Dibb. You fly out the same day as us, however we fly from Glasgow.
Just one bit of advice, if you want to go to Blizzard Beach you will have to do it on the Saturday as it shuts on the Sunday until the end of Oct. We have already had to adjust our itinerary.

Hello and welcome!
We have just returned from our first ever trip and stayed at the caribbean Beach Resort too. It was fantastic one of our best holidays ever, we didnt want to come home!:(
We received lots of brilliant advice from this site before our trip and one of the tips we took on board, was to request a room at Martinique area of the resort as it was quite near to the Port Orleans food court and stores but also the bus stop at martinique was usually first for picking up around the resort and first for dropping off for the disney parks.
We faxed a request a couple of days before we left and also requested one of the new Nemo decorated rooms for our DD(7) and DS(10) and were really chuffed when we arrived to have been given what we had requested.
When we left last saturday the new pool was due to open that day and looked absolutely fabulous.
Have a brilliant time! :wavey:

I bet you come home Florida converts.
TIP: Try and do what you can but make sure you have regular breaks and prioritise what it important to all of you - you will NEVER get around everything there is to do in one trip.
You'll love it though
Welcome to the DIBB!
