Hi - I now understand the concept of Fastpass tickets!

But someone in work today has said that you can "upgrade" your actual tickets for Universal, Disney, Epcot Etc for about $40 per person and then you can "walk on any rides as many times as you like for the whole 2 weeks!"

Is this possible?

Because I am so worried about getting on everything that we would like to go on and not wanting to leave disappointed that we didnt do Shrek or Spiderman etc I am hoping this is true but it sounds a bit too good to be true:confused:

Help anyone?

I don't think there is anyway you can walk straight on at Disney. But Universal do do a book of Express passes, one for each ride that has the facility, and costs about $25. Other than booking into a Universal hotel, and showing your room key to enter the Express passs line without a an express pass, there is no other way I have heard of to get straight to the front of the queue.

Universal do a FOTL pass for length of stay free (you have to buy park tickets). This includes arrival day and departure day so stay one night for 2 days FOTL.

They also sell booklets of Express tickets - one FOTL access to each Express attraction. You can buy USF ones, IOA ones or combo ones. They are all only valid on the day of purchase.

Single park ones are £15 to $25 depending on season, 2 park ones are more but not twice as much, I don't think.

Disney don't have anything like this.

Hi Freckles

Looking at your countdown you appear to be going in September.... It's a pretty quite time at the parks, just make sure your at the parks for opening and you'll get everything done.
Also ride late at night (an hour before closing) as it's quiter especially at MK if there's Spectro on.

Make the most of the fastpass if you need it and if it starts raining stay at the park cos loads of people leave but most of the rides still operate.:D Just use a poncho:jump:

Hi Freckles. I can confirm what Crumblesmum has said. We always go in September, rarely have to queue for long and have never missed a ride altogether. Keep an eye on local advertising as they sometimes spring a 'Special'. The last time we were there, Universal gave all 2or 3 day pass holders an extra hour in the park. We took them up on the offer and the parks were both empty.

Hi Freckles - make use of the Fastpass at Disney. You can only hold 1 every two hour period (somebody correct me if I'm wrong!) although once you've used it you can get another. You can also get another FP as soon as your "window" opens; if your time slot for Space Mountain is say 10-11am, you coulod get another FP for, say, Buzz Lightyear at 10:05 and then go and ride Space Mountain - many people still miss this, however Disney do change the rules ever so often. As for Universal they operate Universal Express - similar to FP but they also offer the Express option at an additional cost $20+ per person - again, however this is limited to a certain number per day. Both Universal & Disney withdraw the FP & UE options during low periods & some high season evenings

You are wrong with the two hour period!

On each FP it gives a time you can collect a new one. To be honest most of the time that is an hour or two away. However, when we picked up a FP in early March for the Jungle Cruise it had a 5 minute wait time. I was so confused I asked a CM. She said the return times vary depending on how popular the FP ride is that you have just collected a FP for. Thus Jungle Cruise is one of the least popular FP rides so the wait time for collection of another is only 5 mins!

So, I legged it across to PP Flight to pick up some more before the parade and we did those rides after.

Also, in EPCOT, at Test track we were given a surprise FP. It had a 15 minute slot on it when we could get entry to Honey ISTA. It was a close call making it but we did it.

Hiya freckles. just going on from crumbles mum. your going at virtually the same time as us and when we went last year at this time ... the only fastpass machines that were actually turned on was on our last visit to epcot for test track and believe it or not for peter pans flight on our last visit (4th in 3 weeks) to MK. Universal never had any on or would've required any express passes.... There was an awfull lot of fed up people that had bought them getting onto Shrek / Hulk etc no quicker than us without them. So don't take to much time worrying about massive Q's when you / we go. I got more Knackered running back round to front of each ride with my 8yo Lad over and over again at all the big rides.
