Dibbers,
just booked my family for the Dixie Stampede on 7th Augyst, not a bad price - about £100 for a family of four, I booked direct with their box office. Have any of you been to a show, if aso what can I expect.
I'm sure you'll have a great time. This is something we want to do when we're next over in August.
I've heard its great fun.
I'm looking forward to hearing a first-hand account from someone who has been to this dinner show too:D

We enjoyed it, came a very close second to Medievil Times in our books.

Will add a write up when I get back - Dave was MT that good - it just doesn't appeal to me. Each to their own I suppose!!

There are coupons on the net for this so don't pay full price. The Orlando welcome center (on I-Drive) has coupon books that has $4.00 off per person.
It hadn't opened prior to my move to London but my family have all gone and they all enjoyed it. They've seen both the Christmas and regular show. Dolly comes from a dry county in Tennessee so she carried the tradition on and alcohol is not served. Very family oriented.
We are going at the end of the month and I can add comments upon our return.

Thanks for that, but I've already booked & paid!! I didn't pay the full asking price from the Dixie Stampede website, but one at a reduced cost (about $5 per person). We go on Saturday 7th August.
