Ahhhh, the Hulk... now that's what I call a ride. No better rush than when it throws you of the tunnel on launch... i've even been crazy enough to queue the extra 20 minutes or so for the front row before... well worth it though
And the sound it makes when you stand underneath it....
And the two inversions at the top...
And the underground bit....
ARRGGGHHH, I need to ride it now!!!! :)

The best coaster ever in MHO and one of the only one's I don't get battered and bruised on.
Dont forget that feeling when the cold mist hits you in the face going underground...............

Both DH and I love the start when you shoot up the ramp and then once out at the top are immediately turning!!! I also love the noise it makes you can hear it halfway across the park :D :D .

Must admit it's a direct fight between Hulk and Kraken for me, think the Hulk swings it with the launch even though that first hill drop on Kraken takes some beating!

Hulk is good but I prefer Karen at SW and Montu at Busch Gardens over both of them.

Being shot out, up and over, loops and spins, wet mist, photo, more spins, then .. all over in 30 seconds!!!! Hulk has got to be the best!!
I can still hear the voice of Banner in my head, thinking of how tightly i held on the first few times!!
You have to ride this one in the rain in the dark (HHN). Wild!
The launch on Hulk is ACE, but overall I think Montu is slightly better, cant really say why.

My lot loved it and l spent many a hour waiting, watching them fly over my head praying that my little one wouldn't fall out lol. l remember thinking how cool it was to be able to walk and stand right underneath, although thats as close as l would go to it.

Yep love it - although I read so much about how intense it is, that I did come off a little disappointed after the first time tbh.
The start is amazing, definately the best start to a roller coaster - the rest of it was very good - still prefer DD, but then I'm a big Nemesis fan and this seemed a longer, similar version to me.

I'll put both hands up!! - it's the coolest ride from start to finish. Even better if you get a front seat - can't wait to go on it in August!
My DS Kieron summed it all up when we went on our 2nd visit to Orlando -
"God I've missed this" - and I had to agree with him
For me, it's the anticipation when you enter the park and walk round the corner, then you get to hear "that sound" before you actually see it - awesome - I love the sound it makes.
I think I still prefer Kraken, but funnily enough my all time favourite ride is still Oblivion at Alton Towers - now that's SCARY

God I hate Oblivion! I refuse to go on it now after my first try a few years back, I love rollercoasters but something scares the hell out of me on this ride, actually I feel the same about ToT !!!

Hmm, I love Nemesis but have only been to Alton Towers once since Oblivion was finished and have ridden it once. It really is scary; that moment when you are hanging looking down and then you just drop face first - Aarrrghhhhh!!!!!!!
Not sure that I trust the harness locks, that is the problem.
We must go back soon, as we have not tried Air yet.

I love Oblivion it's one of the few rides that hasn't lost the fear factor for me - even after riding it 30+ times (we go a lot!) I still stand at the top waiting to board, wondering why on earth I'm doing it again..... Once at the bottom, I remember though - amazing rush! :)
Air's a great ride, but definately not a 'thrill' ride, more of a pleasant, fun ride to be honest, not to be missed though :)
Not done it yet but will deff be trying it this year
You lot are MAD!!
I'm such a wimp so you won't catch me anywhere near a roller coaster! :confused2

Just the sound as you near The Hulk sends a tingle down the spine. That said I still think both Montu and Kraken are better with probably Montu just having the edge. Tomorrow I'll probably say something completely different.

I loved Hulk, I was even smiling in the photograph. :)
AIR was a real let down I thought, Its way to slow and very short.
The only thing going for it is the unique riding position, If it had standard seating I think it would be a major disapointment.
Nemesis and Oblivion... WOW

I loved the Hulk aswell, but after going on it 3 times in a row as soon as the park opened in the morning as the line was only 2/3 mins long is NOT a good idea :D

We did the same with Hulk and Duelling Dragons, went at 9am and had about 5 rides on each with no queuing! Think it might be different this time though with a 2 year old in tow! Have to keep telling myself this trip is more about his experience than my own!

I have been on Oblivion a couple of times and found it Ok but the Hulk I have only dared go on once. I am gearing myself to go back on the Hulk in July but whether I will have the courage to go on a second time I dont know. That is one scarey coaster,
