Mummy ride - Soft openings

i am due 2 go Orlando in 5 days and i really want to ride the mummy coaster and i`ve heard that there are soft openings. whats the chance of actually getting to ride the mummy coaster.Does anyone know the proceedure of geting on the mummy ride? thankyou!!!!! :donald:

JP - rumour going round is that the ride does not officially open until May 21st - until then it seems like pot luck or by invite only to get a ride. They still have to finish installing the animatronics & by the sounds of it they still have a lot of work to do to meet the opening date!! When we rode it last Friday, we asked at Guest Relations and they said it would possibly open at 12.00, went there at 11.45, and it was open 20 minutes of queuing and we were on it!!

On one of the local radio stations has been saying it is opening properly this week, ( I think they have just opened it for easter, and will finish the work after that)

We got on it too :D, well chuffed - we were just walking past and saw them let folks on, practically threw my handbag at my Mum, Mark, Michael & I did it - the sign said it may not be the complete ride, so can't wait if that is the case - it was excellent, one of my holiday highlights :D
