We would like to go horse riding during our hols (Kissimee villa) in June, can anyone recommend a place to go? One of my boys is only six, but he insists he wants to go.
Theres an earlier thread here (http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=24241&highlight=riding)
HTH :D
Hi Tracyann my DD (9) went riding at HorseWorld a couple of weeks ago. She loved it. It was an hours intermediate ride which involved walking and trotting. They also have just walking rides for beginers and an advanced ride which is trotting and cantering. It was a nice place and realy felt like you were out in the sticks.
where abouts is HoreWorld in relation to WDW?
how far away lenght of journey etc.......

Horseworld stables is situated on Poinciana Blvd, which if travelling along the 192 East, away from the Disney area,is just before the 192 Walmart.
How long will that journey take?
from around Port Orleans?

Any holiday insurance I have looked at will cover you for trail riding and supervised lessons but not competing or cross country (ie with jumps).
I havent been but if I did it would be to the Grand Cypress Riding school attached to the Hyatt. It is British Horse Society registered so you know it will be of a good standard. (it is also very close to Port Orleans Sammi.)
I dont tend to ride on holiday as we have horses here and I teach most of the year so my holiday is a break from it.
