Here's another ticket detail question. We have got 2 day/2 park tickets for Universal Studios but it says in the brochure/website that you have access to the parks for seven days. Why are they called 2 day tickets? Is this a daft question? Is it just a simple case of seven days for the price of two?

Zoe,
Not sure where you are looking as this is the only 2 day/ 2 park ticket explaination I can find on the USF website!? -

2-Day 2-Park Ticket

Come any two days you choose! Valid for admission to Islands Of Adventure and Universal Studios®, with unlimited park-to-park access. Visit both parks within the same day! Admission to select CityWalk venues as well.

????

Zoe,

If you have the current "special offer" tickets, the 2 day pass includes an additional 5 days free (i.e. 7days admission) and the 3 day pass includes 11 days free (14 days admission).

However, it's 7 "consecutive" days from the first day of use, not any 7 days.

We've just bought one of these, and we were told that it allows you to visit one or both of the parks for two days, however it is only valid for seven days. So if you went to Universal Studios on the Monday, you'd need to do your second visit by the end of the week.

Crikey - now I'm confused!!!

So are we saying the following for the Special Offer tickets:::

Each 2 day/2 park ticket allows you to visit each park individually or on the same day (i.e. Park Hop) & you have a further 5 "additional days" to access both parks but the visits have to be in a 7 day period. ????????????????????????????????????

That's right earthbound. The following is taken from the conditions listed on the Flight Shop/Themeparkland site:

UK EXCLUSIVE
Buy a 2 day / 2 park Universal Orlando Resort ticket and get 5 days free!!
Ticket includes :
 7 consecutive days access to both Universal Studios and Universal's Islands of Adventure
 7 consecutive nights of all club access* to the live entertainment at Universal CityWalk®
 Universal ExpressSM ride access allows you to bypass the regular queues and take advantage of special Universal Express entrances that get you onto the rides with the minimum waiting time**.

Reading the brochure implied I could go to Universal St. and I.o.A. for seven consecutive days, but was confused by the fact it was called a two day ticket!! If it's seven days for the price of two - then that would sort of make sense! I was reading the Keith Prowse brochure I got in February (I think there is a more recent edition).

Zoe,

If you've already bought the tickets thay might be the "standard" tickets with just the 2 days access. I think the "special" tickets with the extra 5 days have only been available for the last few weeks.

I am sure it's the seven day thing I've got. My tickets haven't arrived yet but I will check the details when they do because I will need to write an itinerary - yes I will be making a detailed schedule!!!

I have just re-read the brochure - and I had got it wrong - SORRY! You get two days at the parks and seven consecutive days at "citywalk".
