Many thanks ,in advance, for you thoughts :wavey: ..

Hi
We stayed at Courtyard by Marriott on Palm Parkway last year and really enjoyed it. It is spotlessly clean and the staff were very helpfull. There are a good choice of restaurants within walking distance and the breakfasts in the hotel were also very good.
The pools were quite small but very quiet. My kids were the only ones in them and this was during the October half term holidays
I can't comment on the Fairfield Inn as I have not stayed there but ther is lees of a choice of restaurants within walking distance and the road out of ther can be very busy as it also leads to the Premium Outlet Mall.

Hi Dvdrip... I have stayed in both ,in fact going back to palmparkway in december...
Both were excellent and no complaints..

Very hard to split them... however what might swing it for you is you get the breakfast with Fairfield Inn..

Lots of good eating places were within walking distance from PalmP...
Fairfield had a Golden Coral and Bahama Breeze yards away.. though not as easy to walk to other eating places from fairfield.

:thumbs-up to whatever one you choose !

We've gone for the Fairfield Inn - but were considering the Courtyard.

The free breakfast was a definite draw - plus it comes off marginally better on tripadvisor reviews.

We weren't fussed about having eating places in walking distance as I'm always happy to drive out to dinner.

Don't forget that next door is a Golden Coral and the wonderful Bahama Breeze.
We loved the Fairfield Inn and I'm sure you will too.

I stayed in the Courtyard last year and loved it!!! didnt use the pool at all, but have booked the Fairfield inn for next sept as it was coming in approx £200 cheaper per person and the free breakfast swayed it for us too ,it all adds up :D

I'll definitely try Bahama Breeze - never been there before.

I liked Golden Corral when I went in 2003 - but last year the one we went to was awful, so not sure I want to try it again!!

Stayed at Courtyard, Palm Parkway twice(both for 25 nights)
Stayed at Fairfield twice and going another twice (Oct & Xmas) this year.

Totally depends on price. Plus points for Fairfield are Fridge in room and breakfast. Plus points for Courtyard location, location, location.
Although Fairfield is in a good place the traffic around it is a nightmare for us as we can only travel in school hols, it is common for 15-20 mins of traffic lining up past the Marriott village.
So traffic problem compensated with fridge and breakfast. Don't mind so we leave it all down to price.
This August we got a better deal at Country Inn and Suites at £20/night just as good as other 2 hotels incl breakfast, Fridge, microwave, wireless internet and no traffic problems. But small pool, not a problem for us but it would be for some.
Would stay at any of these 3 without hesitation, always paid between £20-30/night incl tax for all 3.

You will get a fridge in the Courtyard as well if you ask and its free. Our friends were staying next door in the Sheraton Safari and hired one for $75 for the fortnight and were boasting about it. I went down to the receptionat the Courtyard to ask about hiring one and the receptionist got straight on to house keeping to deliver one. When I asked asked if they wanted paid now or at the end of our stay she just replied that they were free and by the time I got back up to the room there was a guy there with the fridge on a trolley.

Now thats what I call service.
