TCD Villas - Success Stories?

Our friends have booked their first Florida holiday with TCD staying in one of their villas.

I've read on the DIBB many unhappy stories about TCD Villas - does anyone have good experiences of their Villa holiday with TCD?:confused:

We have stayed in two villas with travel city direct and have only had good things to report. The first one was in a townhouse on southern dunes, although my brother decided to mess with the air conditoning and freeze the unit so we had a non working air conditioner. We phonedTCD who contacted the villa agents who came out at 10pm at night and unfroze the unit rest of stay was excellent.

We had 2 families staying in the townhouse and there was seven of us, we had a seven seater car but found we wnated a few days to be on our own and phoned dollar and asked could we change the seven seater for 2 family sized cars, they said we could but it would cost us over £200, so we phoned TCD who told us to drop into their Information Centre located at the Lake Buena Vista Factory stores. so we dropped in their and they gave us a voucher to take to dollar to exchange the car and it only cost us £90 which we paid TCD not dollar themselves.

On both occassions we stayed in their properties we have had a good time and both homes were clean and comfortable.

We now only buy flyrives from TCD and get the villas from private owners, not because we have had a bad villa from TCD but we have found a nice home at weston hills that we have rented and the owner is very friendly.

you will get bad reports about TCD but you will get bad reports about a lot of holiday companies.

Welcome USA who were the agents for villas on southern dunes are friendly (well at least the one who came to us was) and he was british.

I have also been with TCD twice and we have had absolutley no problems - I have also booked with them for my wedding so fingers crossed we have no trouble this time x

Although I know that people can and do have bad experiences with holidays, there is always the other side of the coin and while it's good for holiday makers to be aware of potential problems, and therefore a bit more prepared to deal with them, it;s always important to remember that things don't always go wrong.
I'm also booked with tcd for this july and am reading all the tales, good and bad, with interest and will try(!!!) not to let it spoil the excitement of the run up to the holiday!!

Can i also add that we booked TCD ( 2 years ago) and stayed in cleer creek it was great and we have booked again with them for this year / last year we went with virgin and vowed for the price you can not beat TCD everything including the flight was excellent ( better than virgin)

We've had 2 villas with TCD, both have been excellent. We did have a dirty pool, i mean dirty. Rung TCD, the next morning a guy came out, drained the pool, Cleaned it and re-filled it. Top Class Service. Been with them 5 time, there excellent.

Wow I bet the owners were really happy when they got the water bill in for that one!!!

Seems that their management company wasn't doing their job properly when it came to looking after their house. The pool guy should be there week in, week out doing weekly maintenance and it should never have got in that state.

Plus it shouldn't be left in that state for guests to come into.

My faith is resored which is a good job really cos today i paid my finall balnce to them.We all feel really excited now its our first trip.

2 of the potted plants had fell in during Hurricane Irene (Struck day before we arrived) Thats why it was dirty :p:
