Hello all Dibb members.
I have just joined Dibb and already I have gained valuable information on our forth coming trip. What a great site this is. I would very much appreciate any information to help me arrange a birthday surprise for my daughter who will be 6 years old on our holiday. I was trying to set up something where Mickey could present her with a cake or anything similar. Does anyone have any ideas for her birthday treat?
Many Thanks:cake: :cake: :cake: :cake: :cake: :cake:

A character lunch or dinner etc is a great idea.I dont think however that you would be able to get a "presentation" from Mickey etc. However with Disney it always pays to ask they can often be very accomodating.
I am sure other DIBBERS will have some ideas, also I would suggest an E-Mail to guest relations you can do this via the USA Disney site they will respond to you and perhaps have some ideas.
Good luck.

Welcome to the Dibb - I'm sure you'll soon get addicted like all of us on here :D
Also make sure you check out all the information on the Dibb homepage.
Happy planning :D
Hi,
We recently did Chef Mickey's for a Birthday celebration.
You can take your own cake along prior to the meal and they will present it and sing "Happy Birthday".
You can ask them to provide one but I think it'll cost a bit more than getting one from a supermarket.

Thanks Bonzo.
Do you have any more information, ie the location of Chef Mickeys. This is exactly what we are looking for. It is our first time in Florida so any info would help. :cake: :cake: :cake:
Hi,
Chef Mickeys is at the Contemporary - you'll need to make a PS for it as it's very popular.
The dinner buffet features carved prime rib, shrimp and daily specials. Serving from 5 - 9:30pm.
Prices: $21.95, adult; $9.95, child (3-11); under 3 years no charge.
(Shout if you need more info).

DS was 3 while we were away a couple of weeks ago and so we booked breakfast at chef mickeys. When I rang to make the booking I also booked a birthday cake for him which was duely presented to him candles ablaze by Goofy.. DS age 6 enjoyed his brothers birthday so much that he asked if next year he could pretend it was his birthday in April as his falls in January. Top tip however, dont leave the cake in your car boot for the day while you visit MK - tends to go a bit goooey LOL LOL...

Thanks Sandie.
I don't think the cake would last that long , knowing my two.
