Before I tear my hear out.

When I insert my CD's and Video Cds the Window media box is not coming up now... you know where it says do you want to play, print, record etc.... help... how do I put it back please.

Have you been playing around with an ipod/itunes at all?
I don't know if it's just a coincidence, but as soon as i got an ipod and installed itunes my media box thingie has never re-appeared! It now doesn't give me the option to listen or upload cd's straight onto the computer it just goes straight to itunes, which is very annoying when i want to upload cd's to put onto DD's mp3 player/phone!

Yep V, I cant seem to put new music on my ipod either.

I desperately want that box back, because I cant play all our florida films, please someone help.

Goto my computer, find your drive that has the cd in, right click, click play and that should work

It's a file association problem.

Try these 2 fixes.

First
Start -> My Computer -> Tools -> Folder options... -> File Types
Make sure 'CDA' (CD Audio Track) is set to 'Open with: http://www.cadalog.com/images/non_product/MS-WinMedPlayerIcon.gif Windows Media Player'.
If not... Click the 'Change' button & fix it.

Second
Open Windows Media Player...
Tools -> Options -> File Types
Ensure 'Music CD Playback' is ticked
