So what would you rather stay in

Hotel ($1,050/£620 per week (for 3 rooms for 2 people)
Villa ($750\£475 per week for 6-8)
Super Size caravan type thing ($550\£325 per week for 6-8)!

I ask this for research again as I am looking at the Super Size (3 beds, 2 baths, living room, dining room, outside Spa) cost £25k to buy - villa costs £100k and upwards) and am wondering whether to buy two of these instead on one villa.

Is there anyone out there who has one of these things at Palm Key on R27 and rents it. (see Daily Mail as they are advertised there)

Thanks again for all your help.

Hotel for us, although I like the benefits of a villa.

We have only stayed in hotels but we are really looking forward to our first stay in a villa next year - and I would guess it would be villas all the way after that :)

Villa, we had the use of one in 2001 - it felt like home - just the family if you know what I Mean. Hotels are okay for the short stays but the amount of people that are in your immediate area sometimes gets overwhelming!!

We always stay in a villa, like the privacy and the space, a home from home :jump:

HI
Stayed in a hotel twice and a villa once. Staying in a villa again this summer. Its not the cheapest option but it is the most flexible and you do save loads on food costs, eating breakfast before you go out is a real time saver.

Stayed at a Motel with kitchen in 85 (with parents),
a hotel in 95 fine as just wife and I.
Villa 04 with whole family parents and kids.

Balance for me is villa for the reasons listed. Also having a pool that we don;t have to share with people is a major benefit.

Last point that my wife said was best... Having a wahsing machine so that we could travel out light. Wash while we were out there and for her not to spend two days on our return washing ironing etc.

Villa for me then.

Stayed in hotel on I Drive in 1999 and villa in Kissimmee in 2002.

Have to say we prefer a hotel, as villa's tend to be out of the way and a car is needed to get anywhere.

We are staying in a hotel across from the Pointe this September, it's great to be able to nip out to the shop or walk for a meal etc. :jump:

We are hoping to add a shuttle service from our villa to where ever you want in the near future so that the whole family can go to a resturant and have a drink. Obviously this would cost but would it attract the guests that prefer hotels to villas because someone has to drive?

Villa for us every time. Have stayed in hotels in the past in Orlando, and wouldn't do so again. Have stayed in 14 different villas over the past 10 years, so they must be doing something right!

Drinking and driving isn't an issue for DW and I as we rarely drink anyway!
