I just had an email from the Hard Rock Hotel saying that if I present my email at check-in I will get complimentary All Access membership! :spin: :d:

It does say that rate/discount program restrictions may apply so I'm not sure what we will get as I have booked APH rate, but I guess we will find out at check-in!

Did anyone else get this email? I was lucky to get it as it was in my old lycos box which closes down next week, so I've emailed them to add my new email address.

It certainly makes up for not being able to use my Loews Gold at the Hard Rock. :d:

I would imagine it would be about the same as the other hotels, which is stuff like Milk and cookies, or beer and nuts, or bowl of fruit, but I'm just guessing!

If you book Annual Pass Rate at the other hotels you don't get it, so I'm wondering if the Hard Rock will be the same. Oh well, I would rather save cash than have a bowl of fruit! ;)

I'm not quite sure where mine came from, as it was in my old email box, so I'm thinking it's from hotel records of previous bookings, as I've updated all my other Universal contacts to my new email. Also it says in the email 'come back and visit us in 2009'. Have you stayed at the Hard Rock before?

I'm already an All Access member - the 10% off in HRC is new - usually you earn points (1 for every $ you spend) then get $20 off when you reach 200 points.

The AAC replacement of the Loews benefits has been talked about for a while - I've yet to receive any "perks" of either at the hotels as I always book APH or military rates ;)

Yes I always book APH rates as well, so I will see what happens at check-in. :d: In the email there were also special rates for All Access members, from 20-30% off, but they start on 19th April, the day after our stay.

Yes APH rates should appear nearer your date, there were none available for my date in April, then two weeks ago they suddenly appear, so keep checking. :d: Oh, my two would love a blow up guitar! :pgig: :pgig:

I'm looking to book a night at the HRH in Oct/Nov, do i book via the universal website to get the APH or AAA discounts or do i have to ring up & book also do you have to pay the full amount or just leave a deposit ?.
I not stayed at Universal before so wasn't sure which is the best way to book.

Not sure what night to book yet as i don't want to clash with the MSSSHP does anyone know when the dates for that are released.

You can book the APH rates on the universal website, but you have to ring to book the AAA Rate. You pay one night's stay as a deposit, so yes, if you're only booking one night you have to pay the whole lot when you book.

Sorry, not sure when the MNSSHP dates will be released, as I know WDW have only just published the May hours, so they are holiding back at the moment, it used to be 6 months ahead.

Were not sure if were buying a AP yet but we're already are members of the AA here, i'll have to weigh up what the difference in price is nearer the time.

Oh that's a shame, is that because the rates are too high? We didn't think we would be able to stay there either, but two weeks ago they brought Annual Pass Rates out for our date, so we have one night booked, it was $269 which I thought was good for a Saturday night in April, the Mardi Gras is on as well. :d:

LOL :d: nope the room rate wasn't the issue we were caught with TS Fay last summer and held capive at HRH and it was the bar bill that was the killer for us :eek: one of the perks from the email would definately appeal to me though 'early check in' because again we had no place to go with the storms at full pelt all day long :cry: we were club level but the lounge was choc a block. We kept going back and forth and even at 4 p.m. they still claimed no room was ready I got a little upset then and we finally got our room half an hour later by which time we were hot, sweaty and shattered. I think I'll just have to plan our next visit to the HRH during the winter or a quieter time so we're not caught out and this year our visits are Easter and August.

MMmmmmm just remember the reason for the bar bill.....left hubby there for a few hours when it finally stopped raining and the ladies in short tight skirts were very friendly and prompt to refill. ;) Oh and there's more my youngest makes friends really esily and with daddy at the bar he would come and ask if him and his new mates could have a non alcholic frozen cocktail.....ok....then an hour later and said cocktails were no longer frozen.....oh but he had an absolute ball with the summer pool olympics and playing beach volleyball.....brought back fond memories to me Mazzy :thumbs-up

Bit on an inbetween time for us too as my little one finally shot up to 54 inches and rode the Hulk for the first time last October whilst in the summer the FOTL wasn't much use to us due to the weather and a kid we needed to stretchhhhhh..... :pgig: so definately looking forawrd to 'next time' but not sure when that will be. :confused2

Omg, I'm not surprised you don't want to stay there again, as it was a bad experience for you, BUT I'm sure it wouldn't be like that next time, so you never know you may change your mind! ;) We're there just after Easter and I'm not scared! ;) :pgig: Just keep the males in your family away from the bar! :eek: :pgig: We've stayed there twice before and my two love it for it's coolness. :d:
